Following their back-and-forth, footage showed Shaouni refusing to give the deputy his driver's license before getting back into his vehicle and speeding off again.
Cops love the 'courtesy' of being able to break the law.
Another affirmative action hire?
County Sheriff’s should ALWAYS trump policy-enforcement Police.
Sheriff’s perform a Constitutional role and can and should and do make arrests within their county of jurisdiction, include ANY federal agent (IRS, for example).
"Over 100 miles an hour trying to catch up to him," the deputy noted, according to the video.
As a side note, this statement alone cannot tell you how fast the Orlando cop was going. #algebra
Ran a stop sign
Passed in double yellow zone
Failed to stop
Drove off from stop
Knew a recovering alcoholic that liked to tell stories about his early missteps in adulthood. One of them was his few years as a young State Trooper on the Highway Patrol. One morning his old car was broken down and he decided to don his uniform and hitchhike to the main headquarters where he was in training. A senior trooper pulled over and asked him what he was doing. When he explained the trooper said in his very broad Missouri drawl: “Son, we don’t hitchhike in the Patrol.”
Good work by the deputy. I hope he doesn’t get the Frank Serpico treatment in return.

Kids will still get killed running after a ball, even if it’s cops doing the drag racing.
So do D.C. hacks Biden chuckles Hillary taps wine bottle.
Is the surname one a muslim would have?
If 80 was reckless, what was “over 100” to catch him?
This reminds me of a State Representative who was from my District about 6 years ago. Yes, Republican. Her was driving from Phoenix to Lake Havasu and he was pulled over doing around 100mph. He whipped out his legislative card to get out of it and then proceeds to laughingly tell the officer that he usually goes faster when he wants to get home to his family. Well, that video was leaked and that Representative lost the next election. He was a moron.
Laws are for “civilians.”
“Officer Alexander Shaouni” - Any relation to the clintoons or bidungs?
Prior to 2003 I was on the 210 freeway which is near the foothills above Los Angeles doing about 90mph at 5:30am on my way to work when there is no traffic when a police car came up beside me and he shined his floodlight across the front of my car.
I slowed down then he roared off doing more then 90+.
I figured he was on his way to the station because his shift was over : )
