Perhaps there was some predicate that many/most of us would agree justified law enforcement activity.
Perhaps the owner’s ex-wife made up a bunch of stuff in a custody dispute.
Perhaps the feds didn’t like the shop owner’s politics.
Perhaps the feds are making an example of someone to intimidate others, on unsettled issues like “pistol braces” and “ghost guns”. A massive gestapo raid is a tell that this was for show.
The point being that the government does deserve the benefit of the doubt. They need to provide facts to the public immediately lest negative assumptions rule.
Most likely sold guns to alleged White Supremacists?
Remember - the FBI has identified them as the most dangerous criminal group in the USA.
Or - LOL - they sold a gun to Hunter Biden?

BUT,
The IRS under Obama targeted Tea Party members. Members who owned businesses were also harrassed by OSHA and other Gov’t agencies. What the gunshop owner has stated is pretty much consistent with the way Dems operate.
The gunshop owner is in trouble one way or another. If someone filled out a 4473 and didn’t put in their middle name, and the gunshop accepted the 4473 as is, then they could have their license revoked for not keeping accurate records. Gunshop owners under Obama got into trouble for minor errors of punctuation and mispellings on Federal forms.
Hopefully this guy has enough money to hire good lawyers and fight back.

When I was in school, we were taught about communism. Is it still taught today? I remember wondering how did a country become communism? Why did the people let it happen?
Today, I am seeing this and too many do not know what is happening and the frog is being cooked right before our eyes. We have no checks and balances anymore.. the corrupt ones have finally gotten the control over all of us.. everyone of us!

If they only seized the 4473 forms, that sounds rather unlikely. Those forms would have nothing to do with what the owner paid or didn't pay in taxes. Sounds more like they were targeting customers like the Oathkeepers or militia members that purchased guns there. At least, that's what I would surmise.

I wonder what “heavily armed” means. Guys in full tac gear with MP-5s? I’m more inclined to believe it was guys...and gals... in chinos and polo shirts, with sidearms.

I was surfing on You Tube and saw a headline on Jason Whitlock’s channel which referred to alphabet Mafia.
It fits.
FBI, DOJ, CIA, ATF, every one doing nothing but committing crimes against the innocent while our country is being invaded by millions upon millions.
The republican party is doing nothing to stop it. they let the dems put a senile old man in as president.. it should not have been allowed to happen.
The hatred in Washington DC of Trump .. it takes over their minds.. and they breed it...they don’t even know why. They can pick at minor things, but it’s their global goal and communism that drives them, and Trump is not on that band wagon!
I keep waiting for the gop to rise up... but they have been lacking for so many years.. they can’t seem to get any fire in their system to “just do what is right”!

Most government officials want ordinary citizens disarmed and unable to even think about resisting criminal predators. They are very plain spoken on this point. The facts and the restraints of law simply do not matter to them.
Government officials have a long history of harassing gun owners and anyone supplying gun owners. They use a tangled web of "gotcha" regulations and "laws", every one of which is flagrantly unconstitutional.

We don't have the backstory in this case. When no information is available, you go with the odds. They don't favor the government being honest or truthful.
