It wasn’t that long ago that sports fans on this very site used to argue forcefully that big time sports was a meritocracy and that owners and managers only cared about playing the best; that politics and personal beliefs didn’t matter.
No one discriminated against a certain quarterback because of his religious views. That just doesn’t happen in the NFL!

The pitcher was scheduled to catch a “healing” ceremonial first pitch from an LGBT activist before Friday’s home game against the Minnesota Twins and during its “Pride Weekend,” Fox News reported. Good thing they saved him from this embarrassment. This sounds more homosexual and stupid than Bette Davis Night at the Cubbyhole in the West Village of New York City.
