Why The Black Community is Poor
(Excerpt) Read more at youtube.com ...
Sorry. Yes it was my cubemate who was shot by the girl’s boyfriend.
Tuesday afternoon I went up to see him in the hospital. He told me that God moved the shooter’s hand from pointing at his chest to his leg. He was about 6’ and he used to challenge me to 1 on 1’s. After he was shot in the leg, I told him I’d (5’ 8” white guy with little athletic ability) take him on. He moved to Kansas City to get away from his Omaha crowd.
Primal savagery. Happens with a low IQ.
Rap music if you can call it that has many words to keep the anger alive.
Always pimp the poor to keep them that way.
Adding to my post #40 above:
The stereotypes and generalizations posted here are ridiculous. Both the Left and the Right use statistics to politicize everything.
Many families I know (plus some of us here on this forum) have lower incomes, yet we’re able to make ends meet without government assistance.
A higher income helps, but good money habits are more important.
The problem with Sowell’s conclusion is it does not explain Africans behavior to this day. He does go in to why Africa is poor, but does not go in to why it is still violent when other poor countries are not violent.
This is a great video.
Prior to racist LBJ’s Great Society, we had a rising black middle class. Then we declared War on Poverty, and now we have more poor blacks than ever. Why is it that when liberals help you, it ALWAYS does you harm?
I was referring to his theories on Black Americans, not Africans. I feel he has, at least indirectly when he speaks of African tribalism and leading to the capture of their opponents for the slave trade. Plus the lack of navigable rivers has pt Africa at a disadvantage on getting goods out. Where there are navigable rivers like in Egypt, that country has been prosperous.
Yep - not only would he have them voting Democrat for 200 years, he would have them under government control as well. Take away the welfare and they won’t be poor anymore. Except now it will take a couple of generations to unlearn that behavior.
No and no but nice attempt to obfuscate the real issue.
Recently, a freeper shared a video here about how geography, especially the navigable rivers, helped to create the prosperity of the U.S.
Ability to ship goods is a major game changer. There are exceptions like the silk road but the goods and services were limited to the more desirable items due to cost efficiencies.
The real issue isn’t an average IQ of 80?
But still another nice try to avoid the real issue.
