A Navy SEAL who detransitioned is now warning parents about getting their children gender-affirming surgery saying they aren't being given complete information before deciding on the radical procedure.
Chris Beck, a retired member of SEAL Team Six who came out as transgender in 2013, argued parents are in the dark when children express gender dysphoria.
He cited studies that showed that 80 percent of children who express gender dysphoria no longer feel that way once they finish puberty.
Other studies found that more than half of the parents who were referred to gender therapists said they felt directed to put their kids on medical treatments or change their wardrobe.
'Y'all need to start leaving these kids alone,' he told FOX News Tonight host Joey Jones over the weekend. 'They're castrating them. They're doing these double mastectomies. They're hurting kids.'
Beck, who formerly went by the name Kristin Beck, claimed on FOX News Tonight that therapists are not telling parents that their children would likely grow out of their gender dysphoria.
'So I was in mental health counseling for my graduate degree here at a university where I live, and so I was learning all the procedures, I was learning all about human development from birth all the way through — up to 25 years old, you're still developing your brain,' he said.
'So the thing is, is that when you're going through these [gender-affirming] courses, they're coaching you and they're coaching you on what to say to parents, and they're not showing all the data.'
He said one major data point that therapists are not sharing with parents of children with gender dysphoria is that 80 percent 'will get rid of all that gender confusion by the time puberty is over.'

Do NOT seek the counsel of anyone that believes in gender dysphoria and gender affirming health care. Get some damn common sense. No mental condition is treated with affirmation. Someone suffering from clinical depression is not counseled to be more depressed. He’s not given drugs to be more depressed and he certainly doesn’t have surgery to make depression permanent.
Gender denial is a condition of the soul, not the mind. It is pure evil.
When I was in high school in the early seventies, I took a class in physiology. There wasn’t a thing he said that couldn’t have been figured out by most of the students in that class. What happened in the meantime that people could get out of high school and not know these things?

At some point, the lawsuits are going to come. Against the doctors, the psychologists, the schools, and against the parents too. A lot of kids are being hurt by this trend, and they will realize it’s all BS. And they will want payback later and they will deserve it too.
This the moron who threatened to beat up Shapiro on a live television show? Real idiot. Said it after Ben Shapiro made the case that gender dysphoria leading to trans surgery— is a mental illness that should be treated, not with “change” surgery. From all the world class research done originally for decades at Johns Hopkins Medical School (no surgery unless 2 years of rigorous psychiatric and clinical exam of the physical “gender” of the applicant).

One only need search for the medical papers and photographs of the portions of this procedure on males and females, to see the gruesome side to it all.
Matt Walsh's long video is well worth seeing and considering as well. The bottom line is a social / medical movement based on lies and money.
NO! He did not "detransition" because he never transitioned to begin with! It's degrees of surgical mutilation.
