The rest of the article was just more AGW agitprop. Thwaites Glacier keyword, sorted:

This article just proves that those who push global warming are conning the public into believing lies.

Models are only as good as the information they use.

I blame the thin ice 5000 years ago on Egyptian sport utility chariots.

This discovery reveals that ice sheet retreat in the Thwaites Glacier region can be reversed. The challenge for scientists now is to understand the conditions required to make that possible.

The only condition is a freezing temperature. The average temperature there is always far below freezing. Saltwater pumped from the ocean freezes at anything below 28F, and is a cheap desalination method. The salt gets pushed out. How much ice do the penguins need?

Let’s look at the other end of the critter, the north pole.
You can walk the beaches in Grise Fiord and find the same coral as what you find in Hawaii. It requires ambient waters of 80 degrees. Also, go look up Coral Harbour, nunavit. Same there.

First it was Global Warming, then Climate Change, and now it’s a Climate Crisis all based on a trace gas that makes up about .04% of our atmosphere.

Something to ponder: Have these glaciers (worldwide) always been present? Have they been larger, smaller, or about the same during that time? Aren’t they remnants of the last ice age of which the earth has had several that we know about?

The climate has changed, is changing, and always will be in a state of change as long as there is an atmosphere.

>>The challenge for scientists now is to understand the conditions required to make that possible.

Glaciers grow when more snow falls than melts.

Either heavier snowfalls or colder temperatures will do the job.

I think a onetime very important politician called this, “An Inconvenient Truth”.
If memory serves, he was very high in the government. Maybe only one breath away from the highest office in the land.

Roman times were warmer, so was the time around 1000 AD when the vikings had vineyards on Newfoundland.

” Furthermore, their models demonstrated that its growth since then – making the ice sheet the size it is today – took at least 3000 years.”

“Models” are not reality and are only as good as the garbage input into them. That means the output is garbage equal to the input garbage. The data is all assumptions impossible to measure accurately because there was no one there measuring directly. It’s all based on some proxy data they ASSUME might be associated with what they want it to be useful to build a model.

While this model does blow the globull warmist panickers out of the solid water, it is just so much nose picking and belly button lint examining as their own model building.

Other items found under miles of ice:

Areas that are now Chicago, New York, most of Canada were under miles of ice. The cold and ice will return, and all we can do is adapt.
