A store owner of a downtown Los Angeles clothing boutique was transported to the ICU after two armed robbers savagely beat him in a violent pistol whip attack on Wednesday.
Surveillance footage shows the two suspects enter the store and draw their hanguns before attacking the store owner in a brutal beatdown that left victim Franky Salerno bloodied and hospitalized in the intensive care unit, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

According to LAPD, the two armed theives stole Salerno's Rolex watch, gold necklace, and other jewerly around 4:49 pm on Wednesday at the clothing store located on the 1100 block of Main Street.
Salerno's friend who was accompanying him at the store was also brutally attacked by the two suspects when he went to intervene but ultimately blacked out from the beating, according to NBC Los Angeles.

Octaviani told KTLA5 that she moved to Arizona earlier this week to escape crime-ridden Los Angeles and just two-days after moving, Salerno's shop was robbed. Thieves came back again the next day, and that's when her boyfriend was left hospitalized.
"Franky got assaulted on Wednesday, but he was there that day with his friend waiting for the police to come because his shop was broken into the night before," said Octaviani. "They took most of his merchandise. On the back of his head, it’s like all staples, it’s crazy."

Franky Salerno was once a councilman (Democrat) from New Jersey.
Who did he vote for in 2020? How did he vote in the Newsom recall? I need to know that before I can tell if I care.

What a shame
I see the same thing with teachers. Kids in school are out-of-control savages who do no work and care not a whit, and the teachers cannot figure out why. Whenever they talk about it on reddit, sooner or later one of them says, "It all started with No Child Left Behind!" And they get a lot of upvotes. NCLB only ran from 2003 to 2015, and the rot started well before, and has continued to accelerate after, but they cannot think of anything to blame it on but one program by Bush that only ran 12 years, and ended 8 years ago.

Except the mob you're referring to was decimated because the Democrats didn't like competition. The Democrats are the new mob and the urban yutes are the soldiers. Instead of handing over the cash from their misdeeds, the cut is counted in votes.
