I see the same thing with teachers. Kids in school are out-of-control savages who do no work and care not a whit, and the teachers cannot figure out why. Whenever they talk about it on reddit, sooner or later one of them says, "It all started with No Child Left Behind!" And they get a lot of upvotes. NCLB only ran from 2003 to 2015, and the rot started well before, and has continued to accelerate after, but they cannot think of anything to blame it on but one program by Bush that only ran 12 years, and ended 8 years ago.
School rot started when they took the Ten Commandments, the Pledge of Allegiance, PADDLES and “reading, writing and arithmetic” out of the classroom!
