I can guess....
Yep
Amish infestation.
The CEO should open a shoe shine shop there. Havent eaten their crap since he groveled on that black talk show.
I can well remember eating and enjoying my first Chick-fil-A sandwiches at the Windsor Park Mall in San Antonio.
Back in the late 70’s.
I suspect the reason why this Chick-fil-A in Georgia is closing is because no one goes to malls anymore. Especially malls that old.
If it’s in a Shopping Mall, that is most like the main reason for closure; less foot traffic due to less Mall shoppers.
Less Mall shoppers due to more gang activity + more unprosecuted shoplifters + unsafe parking lots + people ordering their snacks online, for conveniance and to avoid some of the rubble of society.
Chic- will continue to thrive. They’re nationally known now.
I think the key word there is “mall”. Malls everywhere are failing, and for many reasons. Amazon, etc.
Ah, but add the word “Atlanta” to the word “mall”, and you’ve got some serious synergy going on there.
Malls are dying all across the country, some faster than others.
We lost Sears, JC Penney’s, Zales, Victoria’s Secret, RadioShack, American Eagle, Dillards, McRae’s, Kirkland’s, Hallmark, Gamestop, 5-7-9 Shop, and all the restaurants.
And is nearly deserted, and there are plans to tear it down and build condos...................
I read a reply that says there’s nothing but barbed wire now around the area. Not a safe place.
That was not the “first” location.
We had one in the 70’s at Forum 303 Mall in Arlington, TX. There was a Forum 6 cinema right there (that had lines and SOLD OUT!s and HELD OVER!s) and an arcade. I never understood what the name meant and never ate there. Decades later I had one on my courier route and got hooked.
> Atlanta mall
Right there’s the problem.
White supremacists again!!
Wait, don’t they serve dark meat?
“Future of malls in NJ: ‘Mall rescue’ group buys Bridgewater Commons”
My wife and I used to like to go into Louisville and walk around and shop at the St Matthews Mall.
For all the reasons people are listing here in this thread we no longer go there. I can pick out stuff in my living room that we bought at stores there. One thing I do miss is the kitchen store. I always like those. Anyway St Matthews is no place to go now for normal person who doesn’t want to steal or get into rumbles.
Back in the early ‘70s I had a place near fashion square Mall in Orlando. I used to hang around there in the evening just to look at the honeys
Malls are closing. Their day is over no different than how the general store was made obsolete by the Sears Catalog and the advent of the department store.
Chick-fil-a is fine. Many parts of Atlanta are in decay.
I used to eat there over 50 years ago am surprised it’s still there.
