Ken Rosato has been spending time with his husband following his ousting from ABC7.
The foul-mouthed anchor’s spouse, Chris Sobel, posted a photo of the pair on Instagram Saturday, captioning it, “It’s our 24th anniversary today. So 24 years down. Forever to go!”
The social media shoutout was shared online a day after Page Six broke the news that Rosato, 56, was now out of a job after being caught insulting a colleague on a hot mic.

This apparently wasn't public knowledge, since none of the other articles mentioned he was gay or married. Why would he hide soemthing that would seem to be a career asset these days? He was an anchor in New York. Can he sue ABC because he is gay?

Not necessarily. Fag to queers could be like the “N” word to blacks. Meaning they call each other Fag all the time like blacks call each other the N word, but a straight white male can never use those words.
I thought they hanged them using cranes in Iran.
Seems to me that the station had been wanting to fire this man anyway, so they pounced onto this incident, loudly slamming the studio doors behind him. No negotiations. No ‘sensitivity training’ offered. No nothing.
Rosato was about 58. That’s old in TV news, even for a man.
If he decided to retire with full pension, that would have been a very costly and ongoing drain on the annual budget.
I’ve seen or read of this being done a lot in the local TV and radio studios in my San Francisco Bay Area.
...and not too many years back “it” was a capital offense.
