I remember when booze free adverts were removed from inner city Bbllboards and television commercials. It was from running lifestyle adverts based on alcoholism or alcohol consumption, then the communities that we’re being affected by these advertisers felt that they really didn’t need to have a constant reminder to go down to the store and pick up something to inebriate oneself on a continuous basis. Big tobacco got the “treatment” in tandom with alcohol beverages. Beer got a pass on the TV and radio ban. Seems odd in a way. Even promotion at sporting venues beer was given the okay, som3kes and booze were jilted.
Maybe it’s time to tell beer companies that it is just beverage, which should stay out of the lifestyle business.
