A group of high school students in suburban Kansas City organized a walkout over a teacher who went public in an online op-ed about her problems with the district's diversity, equality and inclusion policies.
The students at Shawnee Mission North High School were met with counter protesters who support English teacher Caedran Sullivan's outrage. According to her LinkedIn page, Sullivan has taught at the school for 15 years.
Students accuse Sullivan of not using the correct pronouns when addressing transgender students and of critiquing non-white students experiences of racism, reports Fox Kansas City.
'It's not acceptable that she's still here, and that she can post all that stuff on the internet, and that's OK,' student Destiney Hall told the station.
'I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but when it's so controversial like that, it can be uncomfortable for other people, especially if they're teachers,' another student, Lil Enloe, said.

My best friend’s son asked me the most outrageous, insane question and I asked him if he he had been told there was no stupid question. He said yes and I said, “well, they are wrong”.

Shawnee Mission North is part of the Shawnee Mission School District, all in Johnson County, KS. JoCo has turned so blue as the libs have taken over every facet, especially the schools. North is more diverse - I went to Shawnee Mission East which is probably still 99% white but as woke as ever. The school district use to be #1, but no longer.

Amen & Ditto! My ears are still bleeding from the conversation at the table next to me at lunch today where a mom & daughter seemed to be having a contest on the overuse of “like” in their exchange. Mom appeared to more greatly desire being her daughter’s BFF rather than be her parent.

and this is the kind of thing I was having a somewhat tense discussion over with someone else....and thats all I got to say about that.
The students have been brainwashed. School has turned them into sniveling little fascists.
I hope those little brats get their lives ruined! That way they’d know how it feels.
Yeah, I know these kids thought this up on their own.
