Clay Travis on Monday shared the results of a weekend 'free beer' experiment, offering people free cans from a cooler at a concert in Nashville and concluding that people will actively avoid Bud Light.
The OutKick founder posted on Twitter a video of a cooler filled with three different kinds of beer. He said he allowed passers by to 'pick which beer you want'.
A later video showed the cooler again, now almost exclusively filled with Bud Light cans. Travis said people had avoided Bud Light all night and reflected that a 'big issue going forward for Bud Light is many don't even want to be seen with [the] product. They just pick another brand.'
Bud Light has been at the center of controversy since the decision to feature transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney in a promotional campaign on 1 April. Conservative voices urged a boycott of the brand, pulling it into the culture wars and tanking sales.
n the first video at 6:45pm, Travis narrates his experiment. He explains he has put three types of beer in the cooler including Michelob Ultra, Yuengling and Bud Light.
In the later video, apparently posted at 10:15pm, he said 'I'm not a marketing expert but the only beer left at the... event - Bud Light. Not ideal. Not good.'
In a follow-up post, referring to figures from Beer Business Daily from the end of April, Travis noted that 'overall consumption of Bud Light is now down 26%'.

Give a redneck a $3 six pack and he'll drink anything.
There’s a fix. They don’t want to fix it.
Queer Beer.......................
They will still have to change the name. No one will buy bud light.
While the left tries their best to gaslight the public that “everybody loves trannies”, this experiment shows just how offensive every day Americans find the onslaught of perversion. We the People are NOT ok with it, and will distance ourselves from those who push it.
ya but bud light is like sex in a canoe.. it’s close to water..
even rednecks have standards.
Until the tranny hit the fan, Bud Light was extremely popular. Even at 75% of pre-tranny sales, they’re still selling a ton of the stuff.
Note that I don’t call it “beer”.
Red White and Blue, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Keystone Light, Rolling Rock.
If it weren't for low standards, we'd have no standards at all.
"When you're down to Schlitz, you're out of beer..."
AB spent billions and years building the brand, and then destroyed it in 2 weeks. Nice job.
1) CEO resigns and the new hire is conservative and anti-woke.
2) Formally fire the woman VP and her boss.
3) Make an actually apology that acknowledges men are their main customers.
Woke-ism is largely a feminist agenda with male allies that are “less than manly”. Making a public a “real” cleaning house of woke feminists and their male allies could win back their customers.
Go f yourself. Not everyone is unprincipled as you are. There’s a fix for this and it’s a real apology and repudiation of the Tranny mental disorder. But they will not do that because we now know AB has close ties to the WEF.
“Down to Schlitz “ … Lol !!!
You’re wrong.
Not even a redneck wants to wear a sign saying ‘Kick me I’m a pervert’...
Do you know the difference between a man who flashes his dick in front of children at a bus stop and a ‘trans who exposes himself in a girl’s locker room?
Hint: brain dead pervert liberals think one is a civil rights leader... the rest of us know there’s NO DIFFERENCE.
Nobody’s taking it when it’s free. This isn’t about beer anymore.
Can’t give it away! Trouble in River City.
I’d take it for free. Beer is like pu—y. It’s all good some of it’s better.
dm must be getting tons of traffic on these bud lite articles
they run several a day
good
i couldnt care less what bl tastes like
the only thing that matters is if bl’s troubles give others pause
especially if some higher ups get fired
