Ok...I'm a retired IT guy and really puzzled why I can't figure this out.
I have a Samsung Galaxy 22 Android phone. Up till a week ago FR was perfectly readable. One day it suddenly made the type very small like a desktop only website. I also have a small Samsung tablet. FR still looks fine on it.
I have looked at FR settings and Chrome browser settings and can't find anything that will fix it. I did just try Firefox on my phone and it looks fine, so obviously this appears to be a Chrome setting problem, but I can't find the right setting.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Did you shrink your display AND hide your toolbar?
On your device, open the Settings app.
Search and select Display size.
To change your preferred display size, move the slider left or right.
I use Opera, and there’s an option to show the desktop rather than mobile version of a site. Maybe Chrome has that as well.
Just tried that...didn’t work. Btw...FR is the only site this is happening on.

Did you try deleting your FR bookmark and reinstalling.......I’m just swinging wild. 😏
My Galaxy S9+ was doing the same thing. Like you, I couldn’t find anything in settings that fixed it. Yesterday the display went back to normal and I can’t think of anything I did to change it. I’m using Chrome too.
Ok...officially in Twilight Zone territory now.
Gotta leave for our Gettysburg tour. Thanks to everyone (even the comedians) for the suggestions. If I find the answer I’ll post it here.

Ok...found where I could enable zoom for a website. That is working, but still not exactly what I had before. I’ll post exact procedure this evening. Gotta go now.

I have a Samsung Galaxy and FR hasn’t changed. Always good to go.
I have two (2) Samsung Galaxy 13 Android phones (one is a car phone) and both handle FR fine with Brave and/or Chrome...
Use Brave & private window for FR on the phones, laptops, and workstations...
I have found that the Galaxy cell phones need to be shut down, completely, and rebooted every couple of weeks to prevent those occasional gremlins from having their way with me...
I sort of fixed it using the site zoom function. I think I had to go somewhere in general settings to make it show up but can’t seem to find that now. Anyway, clicking the 3 vertical dots top right and selecting zoom, then cranking up to 185% worked, but still not exactly what I had before.
Btw...the Gettysburg tour was fantastic. My wife and I got a private tour from a licensed park guide in our vehicle. This guy knew the history of the battle down to the smallest detail and explained what happened so well even I understood how it developed. Seeing the actual battlefield while he explained the action was amazing. Highly recommended. If anyone wants the named of my guide send a private message and I’ll give you contact info.
