Two Colorado families are suing their school district, alleging that staff encouraged their daughters to join a “secret” LGBT club and concealed the club’s activities.
America First Policy Institute (AFPI) and Illumine Legal filed a lawsuit Wednesday against Poudre School District (PSD) on behalf of Johnathan and Erin Lee and Nick and Linnaea Jurich, who allege that their sixth grade daughters were recruited by a teacher to join Wellington Middle-High School’s “Genders and Sexualities Alliance” (GSA) Art club in May 2021. PSD employees allegedly told the girls to keep the meetings a “secret” from their parents, including that the club has a “what happens at GSA stays at GSA policy,” the lawsuit stated.
“It’s our responsibility to protect their innocence and stop those who are abusing their taxpayer-funded position to force a radical political agenda onto our nation’s youth,” Pam Bondi, chair of AFPI’s constitutional litigation partnership, said in a statement to the Daily Caller News Foundation. “This lawsuit seeks to return the power to parents by reinforcing their Constitutional right to govern their child’s education and protect their future...”

Yes.
of their children.
NO!
You do not have to throw your child into a cess pit in order to clean it up. My children will never set a foot in the kiddy prison system.
But I can still be involved and engaged in the local public school. People act like you have to have your kids in public school to influence it. You do not. You do not even have to have children at all.
So get out there and get to work.
For the most part, schools in Alaska, especially in the interior have been good. But my 2 oldest kids in HS, class presidents were “trans”. Both tell me that it was never pushed, but it’s being normalized. Nope. Not for my family.
Yes. Exactly.
Not so long ago, children were warned that predators tell children to keep a secret: "Don't tell your parents. This will be our little secret."
The schools warned the children, too.
Now, everything has flipped to the opposite. The schools are encouraging children to keep secrets and not tell their parents.
That is important.
When we home schooled, my kids would often ask why they had to learn something, especially in math. I told them that alter they would see how it all fit together.
It was when they started algebra that they noticed that. My oldest said to me, *NO\pow I see why we had to learn that stuff. It all fits together now.* She thought it was pretty cool.
You just described someone who should not have custody of the kids ...
So is our church.
We have a friend in that circumstance with the exception she made more than +16/hour. Her kids (teens) did online school and she went over all of it when she got home. Her neighbor (a good friend, stay at home mom) was available if needed as well. It worked out well for them, they excelled at school and life.
Well said. I agree completely. I stayed involved in our local school while I homeschooled. I was not about to sacrifice their mental, emotional, and spiritual well being to “change the system”. Now that they are grown/mature it’s a different story.
Keeping children in schools that groom children will never change those schools, no matter how involved parents are. Parents might win little battles, but they’ll never win the war. Imagine handing children over to a group of pedophiles, catching them grooming your children, and then telling the pedophiles: “Don’t do that again!” And then handing the children back again.
At some point, maybe the trans mania will end. Until then, all those children will be brainwashed in those schools.
You’d be surprised by what a single parent can do. Yes, most homeschool families have two married parents, but some homeschool families are led by divorced, widowed, or single parents. I was one for several years. I didn’t use government assistance, and I managed all the bills without any debt. Life wasn’t perfect, and neither was our house, but my kids enjoyed their youth. Another option is private or parochial schools that have scholarships or tuition assistance programs.
That is the job of adults.
And if you have no children in the system they can not hold your kids hostage to your compliance.
Personally,.....I ***shun***government school abusers ( oops”workers”)!
By opening the doors and turning on the lights of these ***temples of evil*** , these so-called school “workers” are co-conspirators in the most heinous acts of evil.
They should be called **Death Eaters**!
Exactly! Children are not foot soldiers in the war against evil. It takes **adults** who are mature in their faith and testimony.
Women in this situation should contact their local homeschool association. They will likely find women in similar circumstances who have managed successful homeschooling.
