From the Dollar Store to Glam, Home Decor.

Recently introduced to this creative individual who
sees items in an entirely different way. Her ideas may
not be to your liking, but you must admit her creative
juices are flowing like Niagra Falls.

I find the title of this confusing. When you say “Create, make and share thread,” do you mean fiber thread or conversation thread?

Anyway, I’m only here to pass on this hilarious joke (yea, it’s quite funny all the way through, but it builds up to one big joke.) A must-watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-tSzZVH5sk

This is a cross-stitch project I'm trying to get finished for one of my daughter's friends that is graduating from medical school.

(will look much better once it's stretched and framed).

I am in love with anything ‘Outlander’ ... book series, TV series, and especially the knit (and crochet) items on the “Handy Little Me” website.

Louise Bollanos (the designer) had a post the other day about dressing like your favorite Outlander character. Ok, so I’m ‘in love’, but not to the point of dressing up, other than the fingerless mittens, arm warmers & shawls I love so much. Louise has great knit/crochet patterns - easy to follow, at least I haven’t had an issues with them.

The post has links to knit/crochet items in the Outlander style AND she also has links to sewing patterns for clothing. Here’s the article link:

I have a bowl cozy that someone at church made - she sews them. I use it ALL the time. Since I don’t sew (inherited my aunt’s very ‘fancy’ machine ... haven’t figured it out yet), I can now crochet some cozies with this pattern!

When the holidays come around, I’m always looking for good ideas to make for presents ... this cozy fits the bill.

Lacy Farmhouse-Style Plastic Bag Saver - Free Crochet Pattern
https://kirstenhollowaydesigns.com/2023/05/lacy-farmhouse-bag-saver-holder-free-crochet-pattern.html

This is a Kirsten Holloway design .... her stuff is always really pretty .... even plastic bag savers!

If your state no longer allows plastic bags, she has a “Water Bottle Modification” at the end of the pattern.
