Political commentator Tomi Lahren has said conservatives will continue to boycott Bud Light until they 'acknowledge' the mistake they made after their disastrous partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
The beer brand presented Mulvaney with personalized cans showing her face, which she promoted on April 1st.
Fans of the beer erupted in fury with a boycott was declared, Kid Rock used Bud Light cans as target practice, and $5 billion was wiped off the value of the brand.
Two senior marketing executives have taken leave of absence amid the fiasco.
Now, Lahren has weighed in on the fury saying that conservatives will continue to boycott the beer until leaders 'acknowledge' their mistake.
Speaking to Fox News, the 30-year-old said: 'Conservative consumers matter and I think that Bud Light and all other companies out there are starting to realize that the hard way.
'Until they come out and actually acknowledge it head on, conservatives are still going to be upset and we will not be drinking Bud Light - I can promise you that.'
Lahren had been responding to a commercial Bud Light had launched which was a clear nod to American country music and its fans, and designed to appeal to its more traditional market.
The company had to resort to disabling comments on the YouTube video after being criticized for it.

To apologize is to admit a mistake, and the apology would alienate the whole LGBTQ+ community and all die-hard democrats.
So, AB is stuck and wishing they had never created the issue. Which should be a warning to all other businesses that even thought of pandering to the woke politics of the moment.

AB products are all mule-piss flavored water. There are other companies selling mule-piss flavored water identifying as beer, and at the same price point. AB is toast.

I bet the marketing manager Heiferschmit(sp) is hiding at home hoping the articles in the trades magazines have pivoted to something else. Nope. Not yet!

Agreed. I suspect that '26%' number is heavily massaged, and includes sales to retailers that can no longer move product without giving it away, if even then. I'll be interested in sales figures after another month.
Wouldn't surprise me at all. I'd me shocked if the numbers AB is posting right now don't include beer delivered to retailers before this mess started, and now those retailers can't give the swill away.
Pretty much the entire AB line is all about marketing, and has nothing to do with actual beer. They really are hoist on their own patard.
