Identity dysphoria is not a default or intrinsic problem with someone’s body; it is a problem only in the mind; a mental problem; a mental health issue. It should not be all that difficult to undertand that identity dysphoria can (does not always, 100%o of the time) bleed into development of additional other types of mental problems. If it were tackled as a mental health issue from the start, not entertained so as to reward the identify dysphoria obsession, development of additional mental problems could likely be avoided.
