Something very fundamental is happening, and we’re all in the middle of it.
During busy news cycles, it’s hard to write posts. Each story screams for attention, creating analysis paralysis. What struck me today, though, was that many of the stories we’re seeing are part of something much larger, which is what I call the “Great Sorting.” All the old patterns are broken, and people are rethinking their allegiances.
Before the 21st century, the world’s patterns were predictable. You could divide history into the era before the Soviet Union collapsed and after the collapse.
Before, the world was neatly split into totalitarian and free, with Europe trying to straddle the middle with its “soft” socialism. America was about freedom, and it bent its energies and wealth to maintain its hegemony in the “free” world. As part of this freedom, it had a free-market system that wrought extraordinary changes in the standard of living for those lucky enough to live in free (or free-ish) nations.
The Soviet Union stood for totalitarianism. Only brute force will work to force people to live up to Marx’s utopian demand of an economy that sees labor divvied up “from each according to his ability and to each according to his needs.”
The rest of the globe served as a series of proxy battlefields for this epic struggle between the free and enslaved worlds.
And then, literally overnight, the Soviet Union collapsed. Americans blithely assumed that the free world had won, and the hard work was over. They also assumed that American leftists, seeing the Soviet Union’s collapse, would slink away and never be heard from again.

“COVID” was certainly an effective “sorter”. It exposed the imbeciles and the tyrants (and there are plenty who are both).
But this was a spiritual vacuum and was eagerly filled by Satan.

And this is just the beginning. America needs a revival, otherwise we're finished.
The most effective thing the American left has always used against America at least for the last 180 years or so, is immigration, and in 1965 they delivered the death blow.
The core Americans remain the most conservative, the most traditional voters, although they are also growing up in this leftism.
The core Americans are also the people who could have prevented this and who are open to reversing it, unfortunately, the Americans are a minority voting group that while still having some fading influence, are not enough to change the future or decide it and their little influence is disappearing.
Immigration replaced the Americans.
Most of the stories screaming for attention are distractions from the real issues, though.

Our fight is not just with democrat voters; it’s really with our POLITICIANS - BOTH parties. They despise us; they despise YOU and are all corrupt as the day is long.
The correct answer.
I get her point, but the Leftist project has been active and insidiously effective at tearing this country apart since at least Reconstruction. As such, it’s more a matter of balance than a “sorting.”
Why the progs love the new illegal immigration invasion and screaming so loud when republican governors send them to democrat states. That’s not what is suppose to happen. The illegals are suppose to be sent to republican conservative areas and utterly destroy the, with violence, crime, and welfare to wipe out the tax base. And once there they will outbreed the white American citizens with a new crop of third world commies. Sadly, this strategy wins. Prepare accordingly.
The great sorting is taking place worldwide, not just in America :
Our enemies no longer fear us
Our friends no longer trust us
.. and then our "friends" went elsewhere

As always, I can only wonder which will come first: America’s collapse, thanks to Biden’s policies, or its resurgence, thanks to the Great Sorting.

This is the question that’s on my mind a lot. Are we doomed or are we in the midst of a “healing crisis” that breaks the fever and leads to recovery.
It’s a real nail biter, that’s for sure.
