Expansion of firearms rights.
Cleaning up the vote-fraud rat's nest in Miami-Dade and other urban enclaves.
Removal of ESG from Florida pension investments.
Those are just a few off the top of my head. The trans stuff is getting 90% of the press though. The rest is a simple google search away.
That get’s most publicity but he has done a great job as Governor. At lest he is standing to the groomers. Trump is way too cozy with the LBGT mob.
DeSantis has stood for many solidly conservative issues and supported them and signed them into law.
Either you are poorly informed or intentionally trying to troll.

To me, DeSantis is starting to look like Cruz in 2016, who looked like he could be the real deal but wasn’t, symbolized poignantly when Cruz pushed his way ahead of Ben Carson to get on the stage while Trump stayed behind Carson until Carson’ name was called.
I think DeSantis is another Cruz.

De Santis IS the “real deal.” He has actually accomplished things, fought off the unions and other Dem power sources, and gotten other GOPers elected.

It’s a judgment call. He’s not done cleaning up Florida. On the other hand, some competition from the right would help to flush out what Trump really believes and help Trump to perfect his message.
It’s your boy DeSantis who should be ignored. He’s a short chubby no charisma-having dweeb who thinks himself clever playing the hot button social issues while avoiding the meatier issues facing America today. His Wall Street/ GOPe establishment money will only carry him so far, and his chances of winning the primary let alone the general are practically nil. But go ahead and waste your vote on him if you want, it’s a waste of time trying to reason with you anti-Trumpers.
I think he’ll run, and he’s obviously touched a cord with Trump.
I suspect, judging from the number of FL congressmen supporting Trump, that there’s something going on behind the scenes.
Trump must be hearing things about what DeSantis is saying about him, and he responds in public, which quite frankly makes him look petty,
OTOH, Trump keeps climbing in the polls.
I think DeSAnits will run, and he will have a pretty good following including The NY Times and all the anti Trumpers out there.
You never know, but Trump people are loyal.
I personally would not walk across the street to see DeSAntis or any other candidate for that matter.
I was working in Robinson, IL some years ago. Obama was literally walking across the street, shaking hands, at an ethanol plant. I couldn’t care less about the guy.
I feel the same about DeSAntis. I find him disloyal, and opportunist and typical two bit politician.
I know a lot of Trump people who feel the same way.

DeSantis has done a great job fighting off the trans and protecting our kids.
That would suit me just fine. In fact, over the last couple of months I have been forming the opinion that Trump as POTUS in 2024 would be preferable -- The Donald can handle the the total firestorm that would ensue for the next four years, and then Mr. DeSantis can take the helm in 2028 and finish the job with his less bombastic, more administrative approach.
Donald Trump appears primed and ready for the fight he knows that's ahead, so let him fight it. I will stand with him every inch of the way, as I always have. I look forward to seeing Deep State heads piled up like fruit on the steps of the Capitol, starting on day 1.
And in the meanwhile, Florida will continue to be run by the most conservative, most effective governorship currently in existence. I can certainly live with that.
As for DeSantis being a Ted Cruz redux, that's not happening. Which the fullness of time will prove.
Isnt Desantis a lawyer? That makes him a problem IMHO.
