My mother was a good person, pushed out three males between 1958 qnd 1962, in 4 years, but she always wanted a female progeny..
Well I came by in the mid60 60's and had a penis and testicles, and I think she was disappointed, luckily she did not mutilate me, as the "doctors" would today.
God bless her, hands in prayer for her catholic soul.
democrat party child mutilators need to be stopped and / or punished.
One of my relatives has two daughters who are by having babies this year. One is birthing her third boy. The other, her second girl. They should each trade a kid! 😁
My mother wanted a girl, too, and had George, me (Al), Tom, Mike, Jim, and Brad. Then she gave up, but she never resented any one of us.
Had friends who had 7 dau. Then they had a son. They decided that the girls would think they were only doing it for the male progeny. So they had 3 more 2 boys and another girl.
My brother and his wife wanted a girl. Ended up with 3 boys. Well, those boys have had children, and all 7 of them are girls. Life is funny.
Did she treat you like a girl?
When my mom was my oldest’s age, she was a grandmother. Sigh.

Omg
My brother and I were both adopted. I was first, being 5 months old, in 1954.
My brother came along later in the early 60s, is a year and a half older.
Mom had wanted a girl, but Dad was offered another boy by Catholic Charities, and accepted him, to Mom’s great disappointment.
She took it out on him every chance she got.
We didn’t find out until much later that she also had problems stemming from seven miscarriages, a nervous breakdown and shock treatment in the local sanitarium.
No wonder she had a stroke in her early 60s.
My brother, in spite of every, came out just fine. Married 43 years, grandchildren, and a great life.
I feel bad for Mom, but I’m sure she’s in Heaven. Can’t wait to see her and Dad again someday.
No not really, but what I do remember, was playing with the other kids in the neighborhood, and a girl pointed a finger at me and said, "You were supposed and hoped to be a girl. I heard your mother say that to my mother".
Kids can be so cruel.
I know the feeling.
Sad, yet hopeful story. Glad you and your brother are fine...sounds like your brother had God’s hand on him.
LOL!
They were SO FAR ahead of the curve on that. As were the South Park guys wiht the Mr/Mrs Garrison episodes.
