Twenty-first-century America was on a trajectory of gradual decline—until it began to implode.
Was the accelerant the COVID-19 pandemic and unhinged lockdowns? Or was the catalyst the woke revolution fueled by the 2020 summer of exempted rioting, looting, arson, and violence? Or was it perhaps the deranged fixation on removing Donald Trump from the presidency and destroying the rule of law in the process? Or all that and more?
Now with the election of Joe Biden, what had been a fast-tracked decline has accelerated at such an astonishing rate we can scarcely recognize our country.
Our largest cities are becoming uninhabitable—dilapidated, dangerous, and dysfunctional. The challenge is not just rampant crime, but the realization that if you, the citizen, are stabbed, shot, or beaten up on the street, the perpetrators may well be exempt from most punishments. And the victim either will be forgotten in his misery or, indeed, blamed for bringing such violence upon himself.
Urban schools are not places of instruction anymore. That fact is accepted by teachers’ unions, whose operative principle seems to be that the more hopeless the idea of educating urban youth is understood to be, the less burdensome the workload, and the greater their hazardous duty pay.
Urban chain stores are closing down on the principle that if police cannot or will not stop consumer violence and theft, then consumers there should not have any store to buy anything, anyway. If there is no store, how can it be looted or shop-lifted?
The only mystery remaining is how long these Democrat-controlled, racially charged, and corrupt municipalities can sustain their budgets and pension commitments with increasingly declining revenue.

I believe we’re living in the times described in Romans 1 in the Bible.
• Humans turn their back on God, so God turns His back on them.
• Humans stop worshiping God and start worshiping the created (Earth).
• Sexual sin becomes rampant
• Homosexual sin becomes rampant
• Humans become filled with evil thoughts: envy, malice, maliciousness, unmerciful, pride.
• Sinful acts become common: deceit, murder, slander, gossip, insolence, boasting, ruthlessness.
• Then Humans hit rock bottom, because they not only do these terrible things, but they approve of and encourage others to do them.
It’s a downward spiral. We’ve reached rock bottom, we’ve reached the stage where not only is sin common, but our society approves of and encourages sin.
We’re not the first society this has happened to. Unfortunately, it will take a major collapse to right the ship.
Notice in Ukraine trans woman are being conscripted into the military (as men) and actual women are assuming more traditional roles. It always takes bad times to weed out the insanity. Instead of viewing it as punishment from God, we should view it as chastisement.

Our experiment with freedom is over. Going back to the 80’s when Teddy Kennedy changed immigration to cut Europeans in favor of third worlders who despised America to the Coup de gras when stolen elections were completely ignored. Kruschev nailed it when he said, “we will bury you”. GWB signing the Patriot Bill was a another nail in the coffin.
It is the destruction of this country and the world that will bring the last remaining stragglers to the arms of a merciful and forgiving God through the shed blood of His Son Jesus.
So when the pain comes, will you reach out to God’s extended hand?... or will you shake your fist at Him?
The folks on the Left will fall into that abyss while screaming, "Orange Man Bad!". They're unhinged and, even scarier, almost completely Godless now. The only way to pull America back from this abyss is to put on the full armor of God and prepare for battle.
2) Fight to destroy the enemy within.
I’m not sure that I or we can stop the national suicide; after all a majority of our fellow countrymen think fornication is moral, baby killing is freedom, blasphemy is appropriate slang and government is the source of wealth and rights. IOW- America deserves the judgement of God and is boldly daring Him to bring it on.
However, me and my family do not need participate in the self-destruction. What I can do is faithfully denounce the evil and proclaim righteousness - I can homeschool my children in the faith with a biblical worldview imparting to them knowledge of Scripture, math, economics, history and survival skills. I can worship the true and living God around the dinner table and in the congregation, I can live within my means, I can unplug the tv, I can be generous in hospitality, I can support organizations that fear God, do justice, love mercy and hate covetousness. Duties belong man, but the outcomes are in the Lord’s hands.
I’m no prophet, but it looks like we are headed for rough seas. The last hundred years in America were an anomaly in human history. The world had never known such prosperity, growth in business and innovation, accompanied by personal freedom. But America turned its back toward God when it should have turned its face. We exchanged the truth for the lie of secularism and now that same secular religion is being exposed as the death cult it is. If the foundations are destroyed what can the righteous do? The answer is to rebuild the foundations on the Rock. The collapse of secular humanism is inevitable that the glory of Kingdom of God may be revealed.
In the future, we’ll be less concerned about decline and more concerned with finding clean water and uncontaminated food. This regardless of how the culture is going. There will be upticks and downticks, but anyone attempting to hold to traditional values will have to become survival-oriented to, ah, survive.
Keep in mind that the next “pandemic” terror will be managed by the World Health Organization (so-called). It’s a bet that it will be underway - with lockdowns and killer vaccines and economic blight, oh my! - before the general election in 2024. Globalists will try their darndest (again) to kill off everyone they can and place any survivors under strict control and THEN they will commit massive electoral fraud. And of course there’s this looming World War III issue. Will the nukes fly before January 2024? There are still decent odds on that.
Whether they (globalists) get away with all that remains to be seen, but so far the situation is not promising.

It was all done to steal the 2020 election. The rats had nothing to run on. So instead the stole the election through the Covid scam. A planned pandemic.

Not sure that would halt our national decline. Cultural erosion, deep societal divisions, declining morality, and widespread ignorance are destroying any chance of a national awakening.
With all due respect to the great VDH, while he touched on the woke revolution he didn’t expound on the issue of cultural decline. That is at the heart of everything IMO.
I’m not optimistic at all
Most people can’t even agree upon, or even grasp the notion of what made America great in the first place.
For the vast majority of people, righteousness and prosperity is just one more slogan, and one more government program away.

The hard truth is that we enable them by not holding them accountable. The GOP is just the symptom of larger problem amongst its lazy and apathetic base. The party is gutless because we allow it to be.
We could but no one has the stomach for what would need to be done.
