What they don’t tell the kids is that they will never have children or enjoy sexual intercourse and finding a partner who doesn’t mind that you are really a female will be difficult and heartbreaking. Few straight women want a relationship with a trans-male and even fewer gay men want a pretend man.
It will be much easier and less traumatic emotionally and physically to accept yourself as you were born.
It’s like imitation crab: you’re not fooling anyone with that.

Doing such surgeries are a cruel and harmful thing to do to young children (or people of any age) and should be considered a crime punishable by death. Counseling and a removal from the environment that is encouraging such delusions should be the recommended treatment.
I read an article, I think on “TheFreePress”(Bari Weiss’ Substack page), in which a mother of a 13 year old being groomed for transgender surgery by teachers and counselors at school, did exactly that. She moved out of state with her daughter, took away her phone and access to social media, and suffered greatly for a year as her daughter continued to rebel. Eventually, her daughter came to her senses and recognized that her mother actually had her best interests at heart and had saved her from great harm. She now is back to being a normal girl after having emerged from the other side of puberty to discover that she enjoyed being who she was.
Too many parents are not willing to make the sacrifice necessary to save their children. They are not willing to give up their prestigious job and hip friends in order to remove their children from life-long physical and emotional harming influences. A couple can down-size their life-style and go to a single-income family as one parent takes charge of home-schooling. They can move to a lower-cost state, purchase a smaller home in which children share bedrooms, take a cut in pay and enroll their children in a rural or private school in which such foolishness is not taught. Single parents can explain the issues to their parents or siblings and obtain assistance with child-care and homeschooling, or even housing issues. If you love your children, you can figure out options.
Also, Politicians who advocate such harmful medical intervention should be removed from office and prevented from running for a political office in the future. Physicians who promote hormonal treatment or transgender surgery need to be sued to the point that no medical malpractice company will issue a policy for them and no medical institution will hire them. It is my hope that the lawsuits will soon start stacking up to the point that such will happen.

It’s a scam, that’s all you really need to know. There is no surgical technique known to man that can transform a female into a male, or vice versa.

Uh, no. I don’t want to know what to expect. I really don’t. So, in good FR tradition, I read no further.

Not enough probably. Think about how hard it is to find a matching donor for an organ transplant. They’d have the same issue with an “organ” transplant, except only a very tiny segment of the population might sign up for that donation program.

So it's not really accurate to say that 94% are happy. It's 94% of the 37% who answered were happy. What about the rest??
Because they don’t actually remove a penis, they use that to construct an artificial vagina and the nerve ending to simulate a female orgasm.
