Former SNL star Victoria Jackson went on an unpromoted rant about homosexuality at a city council meeting in Franklin, Tennessee.
The 63-year-old comedian previously quit the show to live a 'pious life', and got up to the podium to slam the gay community at the meeting to discuss a gay pride parade.
She said: 'God hates sodomy. He hates homosexuality. He said it's an abomination. God hates sexual immorality of all kinds.
'And God hates pride. Proverbs 11:12: When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.
'The Lord detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished. 'Proverbs 16:18: Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.'
'And Sodom and Gomorrah proves that God hates sodomy, and sexual immorality and pride and it's still there, and archaeologists have uncovered it.'
Jackson ended her impassioned rant by encouraging the generation to 'not be brainwashed', telling them to watch Becket Cook's videos on YouTube.
Cook has been documenting his journey from gay atheist to Christian on the website.
But locals were quick to slam Jackson's outburst, writing that she is a 'hateful bats***t crazy person.'.
One said: 'It's sad when a person who was once funny goes down such an awful path. And it's also sad that Victoria Jackson turned out this way.'
Another said: 'If you were wondering what happened to Victoria Jackson from SNL thirty-some years ago (you weren't), she's a hateful bats**t crazy person who spews judgmental nonsense at town halls.'
A third said: 'For years, I've assumed Victoria Jackson is doing one long piece of performance art. A long con. An Aristocrats! if you will,' mused a third.

When a conservative says it, it’s a “rant.” When a lunatic leftist like Jamal Bowman rants, it’s just him saying things.
I see. Well as I said in another post, the SNL staff did make allowances for her religious beliefs at one point. But that would certainly be no longer the case today, due to the rising evil in our culture. So something changed between then and now.
If George Takei were Jewish, he would be the bacon-eating kind. That’s an analogy only.

I liked her in SNL. I still remember those “Toonces, the driving cat” skits and her ditzy routines on Weekend Update, some of which she’d get up and dance on the desk.

What is a mainline Protestant church? Those are the denominations that are the historical and organizational heirs of the first Protestant churches founded in what became the United States. The Methodist (UMC), Episcopalian, Presbyterian (PCUSA), Congregationalist, Lutheran (ELCA), Reformed (RCA), Northern Baptist, and Disciples of Christ denominations. Excluding the last, these denominations were known as the Seven Sisters and were the core of the leftist National Council of Churches. Through the steady infiltration of these denominations, starting in the late 1800s, they moved from Biblical doctrines to essentially a secular humanist theology. There have been many split off groups, starting with Gresham Machen splitting from the predecessor of the PCUSA to form the Orthodox Presbyterian Church in the 1930s.
These denominations have far less influence than they had prior to 1970, when the old Northeastern WASP elite, who belonged to mainline churches, was largely displaced by a newer and substantially Jewish elite in finance, higher education, and politics. Their numbers have declined relative to the U.S. population. However, their representatives are still used to provide a religious and "Christian" cover for abortion, sodomy, and other leftist causes.
