The Chicago Police Department is conducting an internal investigation after it was discovered their Twitter account liked a tweet by country music star Travis Tritt criticizing Bud Light's promotion with a transgender activist.
Mulvaney, 26, announced the partnership in a series of videos posted to social media at the weekend to coincide with the NCAA March Madness tournament.
Tritt, 60, has joined the outrage and said that he would be removing all Anheuser-Busch products from his tour hospitality rider.
An eagle-eyed Twitter user discovered that the CPD's official Twitter account 'liked' the tweet Tritt made, saying: 'I will be deleting all Anheuser-Busch products from my tour hospitality rider. I know many other artists who are doing the same.
Interim Superintendent Eric Carter announced an internal investigation into the tweet Friday afternoon, saying: 'The Chicago Police Department does not tolerate bigotry. This week, there was an unauthorized 'like' of a tweet that does not represent the values of our Department. We take this matter seriously and have launched an internal investigation into the matter.'
Carter added: 'CPD is made up of a diverse group of Chicagoans who are committed to serving our city. We will continue working to support and advocate for every community, including our LGBTQ+ community, so that everyone feels safe and welcome.
The like was brought to public attention by a local actor named Jeff Wittekind on Wednesday.

Chicago cops should just quit en masse. They can return 30 days later to the smoking mass of what used to be Chicago, find the mayor (who, quite naturally, had a bunker for he and is corrupt friends.) After finding him, please, oh please, do with him what they wish. Many times. They have every right to like Travis and even more reasons to tell Bud to shove it up their woke collective and very smelly Obamahole. Sooner or later, we HAVE to ‘take care’ of the left. And the ‘care’ portion will not be pretty. No other choice. I’m too old to do much more than pop corn and enjoy watching the little woke turds get their comeuppance.

CPD has an official twitter account? That’s the start of the problem.
Yeah, yeah, I think Dylan Mulvaney, Nike, Bud Light, et. al. should be Meme’d into oblivion, but people running any organization’s corporate or government account should have the sense not to be taking positions.
That said, if the CPD official twitter account has used in the past to signal support for every nutball freakshow cause coming down the pike, fight fire with fire, with the defense — when the site managers are, inevitably, fired — being sauce for the goose, sauce for the gander. Not that this position would be sustained in a Chicago court.
People have to get over the idea that we live in a free country. /s... sort of.
Cops have not even that much freedom of expression while on the clock? This has gotten silly. That department is asking for a lawsuit. I doubt if any and all other Twitter likes merit the same kind of “investigation’.

However, there is a time to cut your losses. That time is when you realize you are putting members of your family at risk by staying in a third world hellhole, and before one of them is injured by Democrat blue culture.
Take Chicago, it does seem immoral and criminal to abandon hundreds, if not thousands, of good people that live there and just let Satan have his way. But other than that, what real harm is done by abandoning Chicago to the enemy?
