Did anyone catch Jason Whitlock on Tucker Carlson last night? He was the last guest of the evening. He was talking about a peaceful nation divorce (a la MTG) and about how it will be impossible to coexist with the lefttards when out of the blue Fox just cut into his segment mid sentence and started showing a vitamin commercial. They then showed an inordinate number of commercials, possibly to "run out the clock" and when they final got back to Tucker all he had was 5-10 seconds to sat goodnight and turn things over to Hannity.
I am not a conspiracist but this was just too strange not to question. Did anyone else notice that and find it bizarre?

Blah, blah, blah!
I’m 73 years old and have seen this country spiraling down over that entire time.
We don’t have 73 more years to see it climb back up if it started to do so today.
Instead it is spiraling down exponentially faster.
This great “experiment” has already FAILED!
MAYBE we can at least salvage part of it.

As much as I can appreciate the emotion, it (secession)just isn't practical. There are too many blue areas in Red States and vice versa. As much as would like to see a voluntary segregation where people willing relocate, that ain't happening either. Plus, I live a deep blue state and I can tell you many of them up here are arseholes. They will move down South for the lower taxes and less hectic lifestyle but still vote liberal Democrat. (They can't figure out 1+1=2) It happens all the time.
If we can keep the red areas red and the blue areas blue, then we may have a shot. However, I am not sure how to do that.

Secession. South and mid west form a new Republic.

And you think that won’t cause problems with such beep blue cities such as Atlanta, Houston, St. Louis or Chicago? How about other blue cities like Memphis or New Orleans? Think they would be honkey dorrey with this new arrangement?

Listen, the idea is for many states to create a new federal government not hostile to western values. A new constitution too.
Of course there will still be "democrat" and "republican" type parties in the new republic. No one is disenfranchising anyone. What is so hard to understand?

You sir, are a generous man, but I do tend to expect a snake under every rock.. Toss in a fitty and I'll even send you the rock!

In theory I would support that. In fact, I would move there should it happen
But in reality you would need the people to vote on secession. I can't see that happening given the relative strength of the city votes within some of those Red States. As an example, Illinois would not be able to join due to the strength of the Chicago vote.
