Oh, no! I don't have mine anymore, either. I sold mine, but none were really worth all that much. I'd feel terrible if they were just thrown out, especially if they had that much value.
One of the reasons I like listening to Bongino is because he still collects -- or started again -- and I enjoy hearing him talk about what he buys.
So, the universe still had a beginning. The nature of infinity rules out an infinite regress of a series of, and a number of past events, and an infinite number of things, which necessitates a beginning of time, space, matter, motion, and causality. This beginning necessitates a prior unmoved mover, absolutely necessary being, sufficient reason, and intelligent designer.
Inflation, “dark energy”, and “dark matter” are merely handwaving to cover the fact that physics, as we currently understand it, doesn’t actually work. String theory should be added to that list, but it’s Not Even Wrong.
The Last Question by Isaac Asimov
Excerpt: Man said, “AC, is this the end? Can this chaos not be reversed into the Universe once more? Can that not be done?”
AC said, “THERE IS AS YET INSUFFICIENT DATA FOR A MEANINGFUL ANSWER.”
Man’s last mind fused and only AC existed — and that in hyperspace.
Matter and energy had ended and with it, space and time. Even AC existed only for the sake of the one last question that it had never answered from the time a half-drunken computer ten trillion years before had asked the question of a computer that was to AC far less than was a man to Man.
All other questions had been answered, and until this last question was answered also, AC might not release his consciousness.
All collected data had come to a final end. Nothing was left to be collected.
But all collected data had yet to be completely correlated and put together in all possible relationships.
A timeless interval was spent in doing that.
And it came to pass that AC learned how to reverse the direction of entropy.
But there was now no man to whom AC might give the answer of the last question. No matter. The answer — by demonstration — would take care of that, too.
For another timeless interval, AC thought how best to do this. Carefully, AC organized the program.
The consciousness of AC encompassed all of what had once been a Universe and brooded over what was now Chaos. Step by step, it must be done.
And AC said, “LET THERE BE LIGHT!”
And there was light——
A nice thought, but an incorrect one.
Mathew 24:35
Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.
Agree but it would be great to know where all the parts came from I’m nosy that way.
Yes I know what curiosity did to the cat.
Green, from argon. My favorite. ;-D
Read later. I’m sure this has been discussed, but isn’t a big bang very indicative of Hashem (Hebrew for G-d)?
A question for you: God is everywhere, right?
The humpback whales can talk to it.
“God says as much in Mathew 24:35 , among other passages (Mark 13:31, Luke 21:33).”
You understand that these three passages quote the same statement from Jesus three times, right?
Yet you had no problem attributing to God the Father that which was stated by his Son.
Because they are two different expressions of the same being.
And you acknowledge that God is everywhere. Why is it then so hard to consider that maybe God is everywhere because He consists of everything and everywhere?
Why would there need to be any distinction?
God is Jesus and Jesus is God. Add the Spirit and we have Three in One.
In any case, maybe God is greater than you think.
Perhaps you should let Him be greater than you think.
A singularity is a mathematical concept that has never been seen in the physical world. It works great in many mathematical applications, but never perfectly matches physics. There is no evidence that a single atom can be compressed into a singularity, much less the entire universe.
Was this published in the Babylon Bee, by any chance?
“Space [...] is big. Really big. You just won’t believe how vastly hugely mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it’s a long way down the road to the chemist, but that’s just peanuts to space.”
Therefore, always know where your towel is.
Hashem is Hebrew for the Name, G-d’s name, which is holy in Judaism and only said in prayer and Torah study:

“There is no evidence that a single atom can be compressed into a singularity, much less the entire universe.”
Yes, but if this is the case, that an atom cannot be compressed, then there must be something unknown that prevents it. After all, in a black hole, we have already overcome all known physical forces that could constrain gravity from compressing matter further. Otherwise, it would be a neutron star, not a black hole.
So, are we missing a force that could prevent a singularity? Or missing some fundamental knowledge about matter, or space? Or can a singularity exist in the black hole, even if we can’t observe it? Only the last option seems to allow you to say that relativity doesn’t have a pretty significant omission. And if there is such an omission, then speculating about the Big Bang seems rather silly until we address the problem of black holes.
