I got to see Nolan pitch in Baltimore. It was the first year that Camden Yards was open. Nolan was nearing retirement. Awesome experience.My only baseball stadium anecdote is attending the last game in the old Yankee stadium. Yes, people were unbolting the chairs and walking out with them.

Recently deceased, long time sports columnist Jerry Green once coined the phrase "City of Chumps," to describe the pathetic state of Michigan sports during the drought of the 70's.
The current state of the state could easily match or exceed it.
That's OK, I pretty much tuned out my time/dime long ago...as politics/sports becomes more and more scripted by/for a chosen few.
