We need help in identifying two stained glass windows, and we realized we know some smart folks who might help: YOU!

Actually, the request originated at a stained glass museum. A friend visited recently and learned the museum has two windows which are a complete mystery to them. ANYTHING you can tell us about them would be helpful.

The first one almost looks like it may have been a commission from the late 1800’s (mustache style and hair). Maybe the founder of a wealthy family?

The second one is titled “Young Joe Biden Goes F8shing”.

RushIsMyTeddyBear has a point about the mustache, and clearly a lot of time and care went into the crafting of these panels, which would drive up the price.
To me, this looks like work done by an outside artist/craftsman owing to the largely monochromatic color schemes. The glass and the use of the glass looks modern.

It hit me as pretty accurate symbolism of what it is like to be married. Even though she is bowing at his feet, his hands are still chained in his own Castle. lol

Hmmm.
Considering yesterday’s 500+ YO Flower Power Jesus, this mysterious mustached man could be from anywhere in any time.
Maybe that’s why he’s wearing chains — the irony of trying to pin him down.
The child in the second image had just caught the wedding bouquet. Looks like quick work in getting her matched up on account of the wedding blessing.
