For decades, Girl Scouts has used cookie sales to raise funds and teach scouts about entrepreneurship. This year, thanks to the Raspberry Rally cookie, members got a painful lesson in what can happen when high demand meets limited supply.
The much-hyped Rally, a raspberry-flavored spin on the Thin Mint, was always supposed to be a limited-edition cookie. But interest in it seemed to have taken Girl Scouts leadership by surprise – perhaps because of a new online-only ordering system.
As demand surged, with some cookies even ending up on eBay, in some cases listed for about $40 per box, supply stayed the same because cookie makers couldn't quickly pump out more Rallies. One of the Scouts' manufacturers, ABC Bakers, said it needs lots of lead time to make limited-edition cookies. The other, Little Brownie Bakers, said bad weather caused power outages at a Kentucky plant, contributing to other inventory issues that lead to tight supply. As a result, the Rallies sold out rapidly, leaving scouts and parents to explain the situation to annoyed shoppers even as they tried to make sense of it themselves.

They don’t come around to me anymore.
GSA has long been a corporation.
And a woke one at that…
They still pro baby killing?
Our defense contractors are having the same problem - no one ever told them that one day they might need to ramp up, nor did anyone bother to pay them to keep that capability.
I don’t support those who support baby killers.
Yes. The cookies kill babies.
Dyke Groomers of America.
Girl Scout cookie sales are a huge scam. The troops selling the cookies only get between 10 and 20 percent of the retail sales.
The girls are raising funds for corporate support.
Never mind the factory produced Samoas and Thin Mints.
Have the girls bake fresh oatmeal/raisin and chocolate chip cookies at home, assisted by their mothers, with honest ingredients, and they will sell like hotcakes.
“Couldn’t get Girl Scouts’ limited edition Raspberry Rally cookies? Here’s what happened”
was it because they were a limited edition?
Wow. Never saw this flavor at all - and I buy from the Girl Scouts when they’re outside of the supermarket or elsewhere - bought from three this year.
I guess they sell them at pharmacies now. I came across a price list for Girl Scout Cookies at some kind of dispensary, and they were really expensive.
I wanna scoff.
Would you eat the bars at the local Drag Queen story hour? :)
Don’t support baby murder. Don’t buy Girl Scout cookies.
“Yes. The cookies kill babies.”

Why yes, yes they do:
Missouri Right to Life Policy on Girl Scouts USA
Excerpt:
WAGGGS actively advocates for and funds campaigns to expand reproductive/abortion rights. Both GSUSA and WAGGGS delegates regularly participate in various UN conferences, and, as representatives of WAGGGS, advocate specifically on behalf of their 10 million girl members8 for the inclusion of abortion rights on the global stage9. GSUSA continues its membership10, alongside abortion providers Marie Stopes International and International Planned Parenthood Federation, in the Coalition for Adolescent Girls, which includes “abortion-related care” among its goals11. GSUSA confirms12 that its local councils and troops may collaborate with Planned Parenthood.
Every girl member is inextricably linked to all 3 levels of the Girl Scout organization. Each individual girl’s annual registration and dues13, processed through her local council, registers her as a GSUSA member. Additionally, WAGGGS and GSUSA have confirmed that every Girl Scout is a member of WAGGGS.14 Further, every local council promotes and supports15 GSUSA and WAGGGS.
Girl Scout printed materials and on-line content are concerning as well. GSUSA’s Journey series, which is the curriculum used by every Girl Scout council, recommends and promotes many well- known abortion-rights advocates like Gloria Steinem16, Betty Friedan17, Geraldine Ferraro18, and Hillary Clinton19, and organizations that publicly support abortion rights such as Amnesty International20, National Organization For Women (NOW) 21, the Population Council22, and the ACLU23. GSUSA’s official website and social media accounts honor and recommend pro-abortion politicians24 including Nancy Pelosi and Michelle Obama, and media sites such as Teen Vogue25 and Makers26.
With increasing regularity, GSUSA engages the organization and its girl members in a partisan agenda emphasizing pro-abortion politicians and activism. Examples include GSUSA’s encouragement and celebration of girl members’ participation in the 2017 and 2018 Women’s March27; GSUSA’s G.I.R.L. Agenda 2018: Leading Change Through Civic Action event28, featuring keynote speaker Jill Biden alongside Congresswoman Donna Edwards, Rock the Vote’s Carolyn DeWitt, and MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry; GSUSA’s 2017 G.I.R.L. mega event29, the “largest global gathering of girls and influencers,” featuring Chelsea Clinton and Barbara Pierce Bush; and GSUSA’s celebration30 of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign as the top moment of 2016.
Even the sale of Girl Scout cookies is a concern, as GSUSA makes millions of dollars every year from the licensing fees derived from the production of the cookies31 to further fund their efforts outlined above.

Are you insinuating this mother and daughter baking cookies are drag queens?
Soon, the cookies will only be available online through a website.
I heard that George Soros ordered all of the girl scout cookies then became enraged when he discovered they weren’t made out of actual girl scouts
