A growing number of Americans say that acceptance of transgenderism has gone 'too far' and half reject using gender-neutral pronouns, a new poll has revealed.
The poll - released just one week before transgender Audrey Hale shot and killed six people at a Nashville school - was conducted by NORC at the University of Chicago, with funding from the Wall Street Journal.
They surveyed 1,019 people between March 1 and 13, 2023, from across the political spectrum.
When asked if US society has gone too far with accepting people who are transgender, 43 percent of people voted yes - compared to 33 percent saying society has 'not gone far enough.'
Just 23 percent said that society has 'been about right.'
When answering the question 'Do you have a favorable, unfavorable, or neither favorable nor unfavorable view towards people identifying their pronouns in email, communication, or conversations,' double the amount of people (42 percent) chose 'unfavorable' compared to 'favorable' (21 percent.)
And when the poll asked how people felt about being asked to use they/them to address a gender-neutral person, 50 percent chose 'unfavorable' compared to 18 choosing 'favorable.'
The margin of error in the poll was plus or minus 4.1 percentage points, at 95 percent confidence level among all adults, and according to the report, 'the panel provides sample coverage of approximately 97 percent of the US household population.'
The findings show that there is a growing number of Americans becoming more unfavorable towards accepting transgender issues, using pronouns, and addressing gender neutral people.

I once asked an openly gay but conservative dresser guy why some gays looked the way they did. We were looking at two guys with weird colored hair and acting overly personal in public. Waving his hands and wiggling his body he answered, “lookatmelookatmelookatme.” I think that two things are happening that simply didn’t exist even, say twenty years ago. One is social media and the other is society’s enamoration of celebrities. Today you can be a celebrity or feel like one when you have a bunch of followers on social media. It encourages people to go crazier and crazier because they are competing for each other for attention. To get attention today, you practically have to kill someone. And that is how I think we got to the shooting situation we saw yesterday. Also, the media is urging trans people to take up arms to “defend themselves.” If you define someone having conservative views as an attack, then you are entitled to “defend yourself.” I think that is the explanation for the shooting.

If this it person was on testosterone, and hopefully an autopsy can determine that, I wonder if the prescribing clinic can be held liable ? If this was roid rage from too much testosterone, ( I wonder if they can test for that) and this It person was suicidal, then sue the doctors. Thats the only way this nonsense is going to end.
