The gun’s brutal efficiency: The AR-15’s mechanics, which allow shooters to easily fire bullets at a high velocity in rapid succession, make the weapon lethal and destructive. When the bullets penetrate the body, they create a blast effect that blows up organs and pulverizes bones. The weapon’s power magnifies the impact of gun violence, both because of the number of victims and, for survivors, the long-lasting effects on physical and mental health.

Can’t help saying it, but here goes...”Indeed it was.”
And yes, journalism has sunk this far. And will go lower until we resolve things...in a manner that journalists will not like.

Would anyone believe anything about guns coming from the Washington Post? I still remember the horrid anti-gun cartoons posted by “Herblock” in the 1960s-1990s.

Really. What’s different from a semi-auto deer rifle?
The magazine? You can modify many with high capacity.

When the bullets penetrate the body, they create a blast effect that blows up organs and pulverizes bones. A .223/5.56mm bullet is a 22 cal bullet travelling at supersonic velocities. Guess what a 30 cal bullet at the same velocities will do. What about a .375? .455 magnum?
Idiots!

I’m so thankful that the AR-15 is the only truly deadly rifle.
Wooden stock rifles, of course, only work on animals, not humans. And, of course, the .223 ammunition used in the AR-15 is knows to be the most super powerful ammunition ever. So powerful that it is not even allowed in hunting rifles, which use safe-for-humans ammunition.

The car's brutal efficiency: The engine's mechanics, which allow drivers to easily cause collisions at a high velocity in rapid succession, make the car lethal and destructive. When the bumpers penetrate the body, they create a blast effect that blows up organs and pulverizes bones. The car's power magnifies the impact of rode-rage violence, both because of the number of victims and, for survivors, the long-lasting effects on physical and mental health.
As a side note, cars kill (approx 50,000) and maim (approx 300,000) each year...
Hmmm... Do we even need to discuss the vaccine holocaust?
