Donald Trump has claimed Manhattan's DA has dropped a criminal probe into a hush money payment to a porn star, a week after claiming he'd be arrested within days.
The former president told a small group of reporters aboard his private jet Saturday night that prosecutors would have had no choice but to give up in the face of recent evidence.
With an open necked shirt and bottle of Diet Coke by his side, Trump cut a relaxed figure as he traveled back from the first rally of his campaign in Waco, Texas - and grew angry at any suggestion he found recent days 'frustrating.'

I guess we’ll find out tomorrow when the grand jury is back.

I wonder how they’ll feel tomorrow about Alvin Bragg withholding hundreds of documents from them?

It wasn’t hush money and Stormy is a 2nd/3rd tier *** dumpster, not a ‘star’ in porn.
To: Right Brother
Even if it was hush money, nothing illegal happened and the money came from Trump’s pocket.

Say what you will about The Donald and his compulsion to seek controversy, he is a remarkably effective speaker when he chooses to focus on real issues.
Trump can stand in front of thousands with no teleprompter visible and work the audience. It is a gift and a skill.
What is he, in his mid 70s? He will always be young at heart.

Trump should sue the D.A. for corruption of power. When you bring politics into the justice system, that’s what it is. But then the entire DOJ and FBI is also guilty of that.

Actually came from his lawyer cohen's pocket, without Trump's knowledge or approval.
Trump then paid back the attorney.

'I think they've already dropped the case. From what I understand ... I think it's been dropped.
way different than the headline.
What's the point of using weasel words if everybody going to ignore them.
My daughter lost her keys. I said maybe I threw them out with the newspapers (checked recycling bin - keys not there).
The family story now is: I threw the keys away.

Yes, you’re right.
I didn’t mean that Trump paid Stormy. He just paid back Cohen.
However, even if he had paid Stormy, it’s not a crime.

Trump is egging the prosecutor on. Short term Trump wins either way, but it’s a game that won’t work in the long run—too much drama queen and not enough presidential.

I guess this one was one of Soros’ sons that paid for it. So you are correct George Soros did in fact pay for it.

Read the comments below the article. Many speculate he’s already got the damning information he needs and is ready to pounce on Bragg.

Paid him back and then some. Heard report this morning that Cohen got reimbursed 4x the payoff amount. Was this intentional or is Trump that inattentive to the details?

It just shows the reach that they must bridge to get something, anything.
Stop and think for one moment how clean Trump must be, for the entire fed gov and a sitting president, to find absolutely nothing, I mean nothing, to hassle him with, so they latch on to documents moved illegaly (What the F is that?), and of all things, paying back an attorney that used his own money to pay off a shakedown by another attorney.
IN a just world, both attorneys and mz stormy would be in jail (oh wait) 2/3 is not too shabby. Trifecta would have been more just.

I would certainly like to see the receipts of Cohen's hours billing to Trump, as well as the checks written by Cohen as well as Trump regards the shakedown.
Would not really be surprised if Cohen and Daniel's lawyer Avenetti were in cahoots to shake down trump.
