You can buy frozen rats of different sizes.
Up at the Walmart here in town there was a Krate siting about a decade ago, my neighbor at the time and a self-proclaimed amateur herpetologist (lots of snakes in mommy and step-daddy’s house) quickly jumped in his Jeep with his snake hook and went to hunting.
I’m very thankful, truly thankful, blessed... that the weirdo family and the live at home snake freak, his fat grrrrfriend and babygirl moved out of that house and a normal couple moved in.
Did I mention that I was praising the Lord thankful...
And his girlfriend was gone!

Never hear of this character before, but love the other two, so I think I’ll check out Colonel March one of these days.
Parrots are hilarious. Intelligent like a 7 or 8 year old human, and with their own sense of how things should be, and
forceful enough personalities to make it so. Even cats will end up subservient to them, or at least hesitant to upset them. Also very affectionate, though not everybody likes having their eyebrows preened for them.
But they are characters, and very funny.
Not sure about crocodiles though...
