Gwyneth Paltrow was called to the witness stand Friday in a civil suit filed against her, where she disputed allegations that she caused an accident at Utah’s Deer Valley Resort in 2016 that left a man seriously injured.
Terry Sanderson, 76, who is seeking $300,000 from Paltrow, says she slammed into him from behind in a ski collision that left him with a concussion, brain injury and four broken ribs. But Paltrow alleges that it was actually Sanderson at fault and that he is exploiting her wealth.

Paltrow was called to the stand Friday by Sanderson’s attorneys, after the jury heard from Sanderson's daughters, an eyewitness and medical experts.
Paltrow said she was “gently” skiing down the slope when she felt a body press into her back and saw two skis slide between hers. She and Sanderson fell to the ground, Paltrow said, adding that she momentarily froze before becoming upset and yelling an expletive at Sanderson.
Paltrow apologized for the outburst, saying she felt violated and initially believed the crash might have been a sexual assault.
“There was a body pressing against me and a very strange grunting noise,” she said.
(snip) Sanderson's acquaintance, Craig Ramon, (snip) testified Tuesday that he was roughly 35 feet uphill from Sanderson at the time of the accident.
Ramon said he heard a scream and within a few seconds, saw Paltrow slam into Sanderson from behind. He stopped beside them after seeing them both fall to the ground, saying Paltrow stood back up but Sanderson was facedown in the snow for about two minutes.
Paltrow did not speak to them, Ramon said, leaving about four minutes after the accident without identifying herself or asking if Sanderson was alright or needed medical attention.

I think there is a difference when someone slides on ice and hits someone versus someone skiing recklessly and causing harm to another person. If Gwenyth Paltrow was looking uphill at her child while skiing downhill, then that is reckless.
No one has said ( as far as I can tell) if anyones ski bindings released. Usually , going fast and crashing results in your bindings releasing. The person hit could potentially fall with bindings intact.
The grunting noise was when Gwen slammed into Sanderson from behind and flattened him in the snow. 🙄
In my mind it’s a He Said, She Said situation 50/50. Except for the video mentioned that can’t be found now. Since it appears the plaintiff controlled that video, and now it can’t be found is suspicious. Perhaps it disappeared because it doesn’t support the plaintiff’s story. Hmmm...
Yep, she’s guilty.
Both sides claim they were in front. Someone is lying.
Plaintiff losing a video that they allege supports their story means I’m finding for the defendant.
Nobody loses evidence that clinches their case. They make multiple copies, share to multiple devices and back it up on the cloud.

A rich actress worth 200 million seemingly runs into a 76 year old man on the ski slopes and seriously injures him.
Rather than stay to see if he is OK, she takes off and leaves the scene.
Then she accuses HIM of running into her and she has to add that felt it was a sexual assault because she is such an desirable, entitled person - and for good reason too
Ski slope sexual assaults are all the rage these days in Heavenly Valley. Simply everybody who is anybody is getting assaulted on the slopes these days. A-Listers like Paltrow can't even get a clean mogul run in without someone at least getting fresh with them and all bets are off on the chair lifts.
It seems the 300 inches of snow pack and sub zero weather really bring out the devil in the schussing sexual assaulters.

Whether she’s rich or not, whether she’s an idiot or not, justice should prevail. Do you think a guy who claimed his life was damaged forever but still has the energy to travel all over the world and continue with sports should be able to hold someone up just because she has more money than he does? I don’t like her either, but even less do I like con artists exploiting the legal system.
Another reason I can’t wait for actors to be replaced with AI.

Bad news out of NEw Hampshire this morning.
15 year old boy dies in skiing accident at Pats Peak in Henniker, NH.
He was skiing with his family Saturday evening at 6:30pm when it happened.
Pats Peak is a small ski area about an hour west of Manchester.
Family owned mountain with lots of after school programs and nigh skiing.
Tragic
