I call the 21st century brownshirts."'brownskirts"
BLM/Antifa
When they had served their purpose, they were dealt with after Hitler sold out to the Deep State.
Currently known as “Antifa” in the United States. A fully sanctioned arm of the Democrat Party.
Book burning (digitally)
Veganism
Drug abuse
euthanasia
gun control
State dominated, but private economy
street thugs doing pogroms on the wrong class
Staged “outrage” events like reichstag
Mass censorship and propaganda
indoctrination of children
rampant homosexuality
a scapegoat that causes all of society’s problems,
claiming the basis for their cause was proven by science
Christianity replaced by Pagan Norse and nature cults.
All of this rings a bell.
By the end of the war, the Waffen SS were sent to their deaths trying to hold back the Soviets and the Americans as both fronts collapsed. Certainly they, and especially the Allgemeine SS (who carried out the political/racial policies of the Nazis) received no mercy from either side when confronted or captured.
One wonders if, ironically, those who had stayed with the SA weren’t deployed to the front out of loyalty questions, or were able to avoid battle.
Sounds like the Meritless Garland.
the communist assault division were the blackshirts otherwise known as antifa
yeah they were anti fascist
they were communists fighting against fascists
Consider also the Red Guard from China . There is a definite m.o. amongst these authoritarian states.

The Brownshirts were led by a gay man named Ernst Röhm:

We cannot let that happen here.
They were the street muscle counter group to the filthy communists (antifa of the time, aka Antifaschistische Aktion) trying to gain poitical power in Germany during the 20’s and 30’s.
The purpose of Brown Shirts was to give the opponents of the Nazis Brown Pants to scare them intimidate them.
What I find telling in the standard(banner) the Nazis carried were the words Deutschland Erwache. "Germany Awake''. What do these Antifa punks say? They're ''woke''? Some things never change.
I like that and will put it in my tagline
“Beefsteak Nazi[1][2] (Rindersteak Nazi) or “Roast-beef Nazi” was a term used in Nazi Germany to describe communists and socialists who joined the Nazi Party. Munich-born American historian Konrad Heiden was one of the first to document this phenomenon in his 1936 book Hitler: A Biography, remarking that in the Sturmabteilung (Brownshirts, SA) ranks there were “large numbers of Communists and Social Democrats” and that “many of the storm troops were called ‘beefsteaks’ – brown outside and red within....”
Bump
Oh, it echoed away like a roar in the distance,
In moonlight carved out of steel,
Singing "All the lonely, so long and so long,
You don't know how I long, how I long;
You can't hold me, I'm strong now I'm strong,
Stronger than your law".
I sit here now by the banks of the Rhine,
Dipping my feet in the cold stream of time,
And I know I'm a dreamer, I know I'm out of line
With the people I see everywhere.
The couples pass by me, they're looking so good;
Their arms round each other, they head for the wood.
They don't care who Ernst Roehm was, no reason they should;
Just a shadow that hangs in the air.
But I thought I saw him cross over the hills,
With a whole ghostly army of men at his heels,
And, struck in the moment, it seemed to be real like before
On the last day of June 1934.
