Dan Bongino gets behind “reforming” Social Security Pay
Radio 3/23/2023 Dan Bongino Show | 03/22/2023 | Self Vanity Radio

Posted on 03/23/2023 11:58:54 AM PDT by AnthonySoprano

. You can see where this is going.

The FOX News $$$ recruits every person representing the Republican View on TV / Radio to say it’s not the Trillions to failing, unaccountable Cities - but the people getting 25k a year for the 45 years they paid into it.

This Conversation, which will be the RNC platform, neglects to say that Congress allowed and incentivized Corps (Donors) to do away with Pensions and Retiree Healthcare and change their systems to assume (adequate) Social Security Income at 62 which moved to 65 in exchange for donations from those Corporations.

From Hannity to Levin, now Bongino - we can’t print money fast enough to send to Corrupt Hands in Ukraine, but we can’t afford that 30k SS benefit to a worker, who was forced to participate his/her whole life.

The Democrat plan is as is.
Pensions were never viable as written. The so-called ‘screwing’, as you put it, is simply the recognition that it was always a scam.

My pet peeve is Welfare. We have what I believe is over
100 agencies giving things away for free. In the last
few years I’ve seen a number of things pop onto the scene
that are also give-aways.

We give out something in the neighborhood of $1.25 to
$1.75 trillion per year to people who won’t get off
their fat ass and work. To heck with them.

Granted there are people out there that can’t work, and
I’m not against reasoned support for them.

It’s not a difficult question. Do you support cuts to social security, yes or no?

Evidently it is a difficult question.

This is your third or fourth attempt to ask it.

Congrats, you were able to. I’m amazed.

The Republicans better stay away from social security especially since we contribute so much to countries that despise us. How many folks contribute to SS for many years and pass away before any benefits. Thank goodness Trump has no desire to “reform” SS.

Go with your best guess. You’re wrong about 95% of the time
you make judgements here, so good luck with that.

but we can’t afford that 30k SS benefit to a worker, who was forced to participate his/her whole life.

You sound like you're echoing the MSM and that current SS recipients are going to get cuts in their benefits.

WELL, THEY'RE NOT! Stop with yours and theirs nonsense.

Companies are of course terminating their company sponsored life time health care programs for employees following their retirement. They're also terminating the company sponsored retirement plans and instead offering generous 401K savings plans for existing and new employees.

There's no way any company can endure a lifetime of legacy benefits for current employees who may retire in the future.

I'm a fortunate recipient of those legacy costs which were promised me all the years of my employment.

Today's employees will no longer have that benefit and so it will be up to them to plan accordingly. But one thing is for certain, the government should not be responsible for their welfare following their retirement.

Social Sec. contributions should be voluntary, not mandatory. Unfortunately they are mandatory in order to supply SS benefits to those who never really earned it.

And that's a problem that needs to be addressed also......

Spending is the problem.

In fact, Brett Baier won’t call it a Debt Crisis, he’s calls it an Entitlement Problem.

They don’t want to stop the Money Train, so they use that language.

Anyone who has watched the past couple Congresses spend multi-Trillions without reading the legislation, knows anything saved in SS will be spent out another door to erase America and feed the Failed City Administrations.

won’t call it a Debt Crisis, he’s calls it an Entitlement Problem.

So what causes the debt problem? Spending on Entitlement programs.......

So what's the F'n difference other than the terminology which you choose to nitpick?

Spending on Entitlement Programs is far more precise than using the term Debt crisis since the debt is caused by spending all across the spectrum, from the military to education to medicare.

Nice try.....

You want them to save money on SS so they can spend it in Ukraine/ Pakistan / and California Reparations, Baltimore basic Income?

You know nothing if you don’t think they’ll simply spend any savings off of Elderly Americans on crap and giveaways (legislation they don’t read).

Innumeracy. My new favorite word.
SS website shows how much workers and employers paid into the fund. Use your math skills and figure out how soon you will recover your contributions.
Then be grateful if you surpass that number. There’s no magic multiplier

also, SS tax started miniscule.....its now a big chunk of a workers pay...plus they pay for Medicare as do surviving seniors....we all pay...

the whold US system is corrupt while the rich get richer....

I worked at a non profit for decades and have no defined pension and no retirement medical....

I have 401k that I mostly contributed to with a little bit from my employer....

I demand my SS...

notice they never talk about taking anything away from our public workers, even those who double and triple dip....
