One man said he received 13 deliveries in one day, none of which he ordered. His neighbors had similar stories.
The deliveries seem to be focused on Range View Avenue, and they’ve been coming at all hours.
A resident said the deliveries started about two weeks ago.
“It was bag after bag after bag, sometimes three at a time, 3 in the morning, 5 in the afternoon,” he added.
One neighbor even put a “no deliveries” sign on his front door, but the surprises kept coming, up to 10 bags a day.
San Francisco-based Uber told the Los Angeles Times that the company has launched an investigation into the bizarre, relentless deliveries.

Why start an investigation. Just stash the food in your fridge and enjoy. But get a professional food taster first, because ya never know!

Somebody very rich and very bored who thinks they can buy new friends. Similar to being a Secret Santa, but overspending as you do it. Somebody who doesn’t understand people all that much and never has.

Newspapers don’t pile up on doorsteps anymore when people are gone. But food deliveries might. Except for the neighborhood animals that would swipe them. Wonder if a thief is targeting the area with deliveries to see who is and isn’t home.
Exactly. There’s no way I would ever trust anything I didn’t order.
My guess is that scammers stealing credit card numbers place a preliminary order like this to check and see if the number is good.
Wonder how many hacked credit card numbers are being used?.
