It has emerged that Russia is quickly reconditioning hundreds of old T-62 tanks to serve in Ukraine - a tank design 60 years old! Some are being taken from museums! But Russia is not the only country to plunder museums for vehicles and spare parts, as this videos shows.
Last year someone posted the Russians are even rehabbing some T-55 tanks.
They make good targets now just as they did back then...................
Russia appears to be about to use a new weapon against Ukraine - but it’s not a jet or missile, but rather a 75-year-old biplane transport plane.

IKR?
he shows they have 2000 T62 in museums to be refurbished
of course it’ll take a few years...
yup, improved targets
Makes me feel better about my ‘82 Shovelhead . . .

Bras make good skycaps.
Any modern weapon, except an AK, will take out a T-62. But even an AK or any ordinary infantry weapon with armor piercing will take them out.
They are only good for indirect fire which quickly wears their barrels out, rendering them another machine gun platform.
I love the clean classic lines of the T54.
There ought to be some T-34’s around in decent condition
Dig deep
The best stuff in the museums are the heroes of WWII: T-34s with their powerful 76.2mm main guns ... run, run away!!
LOLOL...
well, they got enough of them
yup, tubes are burning up on both sides
and yet nobody else copied igloo turrets
and i never understood why US armor dint carry quick detach fuel droptanks on the back
LOL... 1min apart
The Ukrainian “tank cemetery” Kharkiv Tank Repair Plant is only 20 miles from the Russian border.
0 miles on them.
Mr Itkin said ‘It took me many months to track down this place,
LOLOL... really, REALLY???

And yet the western world STILL has to give Ukraine billions and billions and billions in dollars and equipment. Something just doesn’t seem right to me.
