Trust is a tricky thing to restore...and the American people don't trust their country's elections.
"Put the adults back in charge," they whined. "Donald Trump will break the world," they lied. Well, they manipulated election rules to certify suspicious vote totals that preposterously portrayed senile Joe Biden as the most popularly elected president in history; censored and locked up anyone who complained; and covered up their crimes with J6 show trials drenched in untruths meant to hide from history the Uniparty's underhanded machinations in outright stealing a presidential election. The whole mess was so banana-republic-yucky that Biden was inaugurated behind barbed wire and a show of military force befitting the small junta who attended the successful coup's celebration. And as a result of the Uniparty's installation of Dementia Joe as White House marionette, the American people have been plagued with crime, inflation, political persecution, COVID tyranny, deadly battlefield retreat, open borders, staggering drug deaths, proxy wars, bankruptcies, bank runs, endless new regulations, a plummeting standard of living, economic panic, and social volatility. Elections have consequences, but stolen elections have catastrophes.

Here's an idea: when more than half the country believes that "cheating likely affected the outcome of the 2020 presidential election" and that future election outcomes cannot be trusted, then that crisis in confidence reflects catastrophic government failure. In functioning republics with reliable voting systems, allegations of electoral malfeasance are a "big deal." When nothing less than the people's faith in the democratic process is at stake, then representative government will not survive unless the people perceive that process to be fair, transparent, and above reproach. When they instead judge elections as corrupt, manipulated, and unverifiable, the blame for such disastrous public perception lies entirely with government officials.

People voted FOR Trump. Trump would have beaten any Democrat in ‘16.
On election night ‘20 I went to bed in the USA and woke up the next morning in East Germany.
“So, would DJT’s election in 2024 mean he was elected a 3rd time?
It would seem, YES.”
Not really a big deal, since the amendment says that someone who has served two terms (or a significant portion thereof) can’t serve a third. Trump never served his second term.
Support an Article V Convention of the States.
<>People who think we can vote our way out of this mess are in denial<>
Quite right. It is why I’ve been banging the pots and pans for years at FR for an Article V Convention of the States.
Conservatives need to be just as peaceful, volatile, demanding, aggressive and on the streets just like BLM and ANTIFA. Never ever roll over to unfairness or political anarchists. But àhold them fully accountable.
Who would want any Constitutional convention that could use media trash manipulators to take and to strip any of our rights by the treasonous scumbags. Any one that tries to touch our Constitution needs purged from America and kicked out forever.

Thank you for sharing your feelings.
Thanks my point was poorly stated. I would hate to see our Bill of Rights etc opened up to editing by leftists that run our media. Seems they would like nothing better than an opportunity to change our Constitution and Bill of Rights. They strive to fill our country with non critical thinking Americans that will readily do leftist bidding.
So I guess my point was please do not touch our Constitution even though they could do improvements, but is it worth the risk? Sorry for the poor reply.
Your opinion is common. But if We the People are unqualified to set the limits of government, we really don’t have any business in voting either.
I say the problem is that the exec, congress and especially the federal courts can amend the Constitution at-will.
They will continue to do so until We the People take charge.
