If you collect a hundred black ants
And a hundred fire ants
And put them in a jar
Nothing will happen

But, if you take the jar, shake it violently and leave it on a table, the ants will start killing each other
Red believes the black is the enemy while black believes the red is the enemy
When the real enemy is the person who shook the jar

The same is true in society
Men versus women
Black versus white
Faith versus science
Young versus old
Etcetera

Before we fight each other, we must ask ourselves

Who shook the jar?

He invented it, but was never actually on it. What you are hearing is an old Dictaphone cylinder recording he made of that parable. That's how ahead of his time he was. Someone read a book where he had documented his envisioned Facebook and because it was such a rare & scarce edition, most had never heard of it, let alone read it. In that book he even changed the name to Meta near the end of his book, because he knew that would be better received. Was the only aspect he got totally wrong.

Every non-POC person in the world could liquidate all of his or her wealth and give it to POCs and they’d still complain “Not enough. You were too slow. I didn’t like the look you gave me when you handed over your millions. I’m still pissed!”

That Mark Twain guy was pretty prescient being as how he died in 1910 and red fire ants didn’t get introduced to the USA until sometime in the late 1930s.
