Did she die without a will?

Wills can be deposed by the new monarch.

See Edward VI...........

The article explains that since 1993 the inheritance goes from monarch to monarch.

Apparently for tax reasons she left it all to Charles.
He sounds selfish greedy and irrational as well as neurotic.
Definitely not a noble figure.

Hopefully William will take over before Charles demolishes
what remains of respect for the Monarchy as living history.

No there was a will, but the tax ramifications are set by the government.

I would think if the Royals kept being Royals they would be fine. But Harry and Andrew made choices that are causing them financial grief.

And Andrew…he could rescue disabled children from a sinking and burning school bus…and Great Britain would still hold him in disdain. He should just be quiet and hope he catches a break in his 70’s.

"Did she die without a will?"

She had a Will, but like Prince Phillip's Will, it isn't available to the public. I saw an article a while back that said anyone other than Charles that she left anything to, would have to pay a hefty inheritance tax on it. The new King can "loan" out the Royal Jewels to family members while he's sovereign. That way no one has to pay taxes on them since they're just borrowed.

You didn’t read the article, by law there is no tax if the fortune passes from one monarch to another. She did have a will.
