U.S. Sen. John Fetterman’s wife, Gisele, has shared photos of she and their children visiting him in Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he is undergoing treatment for clinical depression.
On Friday, Gisele Fetterman shared three photos on Twitter, one of she and her husband; one of the family at a table after, apparently, grabbing food from Wendy’s at Walter Reed; and one of colorful sticky notes with drawings and encouraging words that it appears the children wrote.
“We love you so much!!” read one. “Best dad EVER,” says another.
Gisele Fetterman added a comment to her post, referring to her husband as João, which is Portuguese for John. She is a native of Brazil, where Portuguese is spoken.
“We can do hard things when we do them together ♥ so proud of João, the kids, and everyone who’s shared their own struggles with us in the past few weeks,” she wrote. “It gets better.”

Agree. These damn politicians use our best military hospital.
Sad as no man I knew from my unit was ever there. I was in Cam Rhan Bay for initial treatment, then Japan’s 7th Field Hospital, and when the Medivac Plane landed at Andrews AFB, they sent me to Womack Army Hospital at Fort Bragg.
So heartwarming. Maybe John can get on with the business of hanging hinself now.
Wendy’s isn’t the healthiest. And coincidentally, neither is Fetterman.
I will take the high road.
I hope he recovers fully.
Isn’t depression normally treated in an out patient setting and with the appropriate pills? I think it’s more like he’s lost all contact with reality and is batshit insane. After all, he’s a democrat.

What a heartwarming story. Thank goodness that he is doing all right. Poor wife. Poor kids. Lucky us but it won’t last.

She really doesn’t have a choice. She would look terrible when she’s being confirmed by the senate to take her rightful place.
