The mom would likely win if it was in a red state. But in D.C. I doubt it.

First of all, never ever let your young children go into the doctor’s examination room without you. They are not informed enough to ask or answer questions which are important to their health.
Next, so many parents do not realize how many “well respected” pediatricians have been found to be child sexual abusers. This mother failed in her duty to be watchful over her children’s general welfare.
This mother made the first mistake, but the medical malpractice was on the part of the physician’s office. I would be suing everyone connected to that office.
I’m thinking “sue” isn’t the proper response in this situation.
Why would a mother not go inside the room with the children? Makes no sense.
I would sue that doctor into the dirt and all the way to Hell.
