150 years ago 16 years olds got married and had families, but we aren’t in that age any longer.

One of my daughters had a baby boy when she was seventeen and unmarried.
She kept him, and he grew up to become a fine man.
Later on, she married a wealthy man, had three more kids, got a Ph. D., and now teaches at a prestigious University.
Choose life!
As long as you are open to learning life’s lessons. Typically, we try to pass our own lessons on to our children in the hope they avoid our mistakes. I hope it all works out for the child.

I have a high school friend who was a mother at 17, a grandmother at 35 and a great grandmother at 55.
