A House subcommittee today chaired by Republican Rep. Jim Jordan is holding a hearing on the weaponization of the federal government as shown in the Twitter Files. The witnesses are journalists Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger, who have faced some frankly idiotic lines of questioning from some Democrats, and least one of which didn’t even bother to study the subject matter.
While trying to protect the narrative on behalf of the government, Democrat Rep. Daniel Sachs Goldman (those names might sound familiar, and yes, he’s one of the richest members of Congress) claimed there’s “no actual evidence” of the government ever attempting to censor speech. However, Rep. Jordan, as they say, brought the receipts:

“Democrat Rep. Daniel Sachs Goldman”
NYC right?
Seymour Hersh says Jordan does his homework. Proud of you, Jimmy
Ask Goldmine Sachs where lawful speech is exists in the constitution.
Fvck Yov is Greco Roman free speech.
Judges rule on what speech is legal, not government appointees inside the DNC.
I hate rich DemonRATS.
Guess what?
Goldman was the prosecutor during the 2nd impeachment trial in the Senate.
Love the attempted wiggle out of it by the dem: “Lawful speech.” Wanted Jordan to read the underlying tweet. He found it and read it in. Wish I could see the video of that.
The last second of the video is where they reveal what the “unlawful” speech was. Someone died after receiving the COVID vaccination.
It is apparently “unlawful” to speculate that Hank Aaron died after receiving the vaccine. Huh. Doesn’t seem unlawful to me, but I’m not a slimy Democrat lawyer.
Hank Aaron did die shortly after receiving the CoVid vaccine, as did another famous black athlete (a boxer, but I can't recall his name). The speculation is whether the cause was due to the CoVid shot, or whether it was two random happenstances.
bkmk
Actually Jim Jordan was more awkward. He should have been better prepared with the details, including the tweet instead of hemming and hawing and stumbling through it. He lost the slam dunk opportunity because of his maladroit handling of this situation.
