He played like crap at UF. There’s more to QB than how fast you run and how high you jump.
You mean there aren’t a lot of NFL plays that begin with the quarterback executing a standing broad jump?
You are correct. Anyone that takes him even in the first round is crazy to me. Maybe he develops over the years into something but right now I have seen no tape that he can play the position consistently.
Yep!........................
Another UFlorida QB...um, sure.
“how fast you run and how high you jump”
Jimmy Johnson had a most unusual criterion for his draft choices: he chose guys who made plays on the field. Some of his picks were kinda obscure. Remember how that translated into some really good Cowboys teams.

Draft him, but not as a QB.
What did he have, a 53% completion rate?
If he has any hands at all?? At 6-foot-4 and 244 pounds and a 4.43 forty, I would make him a tight end.
He’s so fragile he missed zero games. He played badly at times but he also played really well at times. All the hallmarks of a very young QB who still needs a lot of development.
Go back and look at that Tennessee game though if you doubt he can play well. He played pretty well against LSU and Utah too. usf and Kentucky were lowlights.
The University of Kentucky showed how to beat this guy.
