Anthony Richardson is turning heads at the NFL combine and the oddsmakers have taken notice.

The Florida quarterback posted two combine records for his position on Saturday with a 40.5-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot, 9-inch broad jump. He also ran a blistering 4.43 40-yard dash.

At 6-foot-4 and 244 pounds, Richardson is an elite athlete. Anybody who watched him play in the SEC knows that. And now there are some rumblings that he is in consideration for the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NFL draft.

AR-15 put on a Combine show for the ages. Probably the 2nd biggest measurement for QB's was Bryce Young bulking up to 205 lbs.

He played like crap at UF. There’s more to QB than how fast you run and how high you jump.

You mean there aren’t a lot of NFL plays that begin with the quarterback executing a standing broad jump?

I hadn't even heard of this guy before the combines - the big name QBs were Bryce Young and CJ Stroud. Amazing how the combines can raise a player's stock.

You are correct. Anyone that takes him even in the first round is crazy to me. Maybe he develops over the years into something but right now I have seen no tape that he can play the position consistently.

Single-handedly cost UF the Kentucky game with his pick-six and he almost lost the game to lowly South Florida.

The NFL is full of coaches who think they can take a beautiful piece of marble and chisel out a Hall of Famer QB.

He’s got weak ankles. Sure if he’s 100% he could be effective, but that won’t be often.

Funny that the QBs who transfer from Florida have more success.

The single best quarterback I saw play this year was Bryce Young. I think that Hendon Hooker could be a dark horse, at least in the actual pro game, if not in the draft.

I see Trask may be starter for the Bucs next season. Only decent QB UF has had since Tebow.

Reminder that Chad Pennington was the top QB taken in the first round of the 2000 draft.

Down in the sixth round went Tom Brady.

Wishing the best for Trask.

Maybe less hype is the clue for UF QB success.
