The Boulder, Colorado home where child beauty queen JonBenét Ramsey was found murdered is now up for sale, according to a recently-posted listing.
The Zillow listing boasts 7,240 square feet of "elegant living areas" in an "epic Boulder location." The home has 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and 3 half-baths.
The A-frame-style house was listed on Wednesday for $7 million – a 250% increase from its selling price of under $2 million in 2014.
The Ramseys sold the home less than two years after 6-year-old JonBenét Ramsey was found dead in the house's basement in 1996.

She owned a home at that age? Child pageants must pay a lot.
I’ve read that houses that are known for having had ugly things happen in it (murders,for example) are difficult to sell and bring far less than they’d be otherwise worth.
It’s been resold 3 or 4 times since her death and probably remodeled as many times.
5 baths and 3 half baths! I Don’t want to own a house with 8 toilets for me to clean.

I would definitely have to pass on that bit of real estate.
I believe the realtor and/or current owner must disclose unsavory history (murder in home) to prospective buyer.
A home where someone was murdered? NEVER.
$7 million for a house on only 1/4 an acre. Insane! I would prefer a small house on 10 acres.
When I have a free day (which is often) I'll hop in my car and drive down to Greenwich,CT and/or Alpine,NJ...both of which are breathtakingly wealthy suburbs of NYC. Years ago Martha Moxley,a 15 year old girl,was brutally murdered in Greenwich by Michael Skakill...a member of the Kennedy family. I've visited the street where she lived and the nearby street where he lived.
She was murdered in her back yard. Today,the house where she lived is gone...torn down...and is replaced by a multi million dollar mansion. I read that her family left Greenwich soon after her murder and the people who bought the place immediately tore it down and replaced it.
I'm surprised that the same thing didn't happen to the Ramsey house.
