Federal judge says wrongful death lawsuit against Kyle Rittenhouse can proceed
A wrongful death lawsuit filed by the father of one of the men Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed in the Kenosha riots will proceed, a federal judge in Wisconsin ruled Wednesday.
Anthony Huber was one of the two men Rittenhouse killed in August 2020 during the riots following the shooting of Jacob Blake, a black man, by police.

There was really good video of the shooting a year ago, now it all gets frozen at the most critical points.
The process is the punishment. Even when Kyle wins, it will cost him money.
He says he must follow due process procedure.

I doubt the guy suing Ky;e has any money meaning there’s simply a law firm that’s suing Kyle in reality because they either see money or advertising gain. Kyle losses either way just like Flynn. Who determines frivolous lawsuits? Sounds like a good idea, but the Biden Regime would get an executive order saying lawsuits for election fraud are frivolous.
Here’s my one concern. Generally, an acquittal (where the standard is guilt beyond reasonable doubt), does not preclude a subsequent civil case because failure to prove guilt beyond reasonable doubt does not preclude a finding of the civil standard of guilt by a preponderance of the evidence.
But where the there is no doubt to the person’s “guilt” and acquittal was based on a self-defense theory, the defendant has already proven the propriety of the self-defense action by a preponderance of the evidence. So in this circumstance, I”m not sure what there is to prove and why the civil trial isn’t barred by res judicata (Latin for “the thing has been decided”).
That video is crock of shit. The captions don’t match what’s happening. The guy with skateboard may be trying to run away, but he’s doing it with a grip on Kyle’s gun. The other guy was lowering his gun when Kyle shot him. He admitted it in court. The slow motion only proves that Kyle was in a fight for his life being attacked by multiple people at the same time.
